Do you regularly watch SS & MHST? today 18th Aug it seems is last episode, they both are ending abruptly.

RSHD will replace SS at 7pm and KMTMG will replace MHST at 7.30pm from tomorrow,19th Aug.

Its proven with data that early evening slots and late evening slots on GECs don't get same kind of viewership on TV.

A common observation in many parts of India is that male viewers & working class among families give more viewership to GECs on weekdays for 10pm to 11pm slots, as these are post dinner or during dinner time relaxations for them, as compared to early evening slots. Horror shows, crime shows, mature or rebellious concepts, debatable topics etc. & BB kind controversial adult reality shows hence get aired by channels, at those late time slots usually.

I dont watch those shows, I only heard about them ending along with RM. So RM is gonna end in Sept?

Yeah ive also noticed early slots get less trp on Zee, these shows shows may fall low due to time change but we can just hope for the best.

I think zee just has less viewership

SP stories are no better but still get high trps

yeah SP in last few years has far better outreach and distribution network in India with more paid TV subscribers for its channel.

But weekly TRP's which are taken by BARC from some thousands fixed sample TV sets on what all they view prime time don't alone determine a Hindi GEC viewership or rach of its respective fiction/non-fiction shows airing on different time slots.

Though stories and concepts are outdated, regressive, repetitive, with predictable twists on almost all popular channels, its execution of episodes, packaging, promoting that also matters. SP team probably does it better than Z or Colors to attract and sustain its TV viewers week on week.

I Think So

If Z has learnt lessons from recent years setback, then its management team won't dare to launch any new daily serials at 6.30pm or 7pm slots in near future, where clearly Z hindi channels outreach and audience reception has been very low.

I Don't Think Zee Channel Has Learned Their Lesson

All Their Shows Have Low Rates
