Abhishek is a great actor. Unfortunately, because he is the son of Amitabh, he is always compared and never given due credit where he deserves. That being said, he is not great but yes, he is a fantastic business man. He helped his dad and uncle out when they filed bankruptcy many years ago and now owns multiple businesses and also does a lot with sports.

Karishma did do that webseries - Mentalhood. I literally watched it for her and I was happily surprised to see Dino in it doing some really good work. The series was dumb, but it was nice to see Karishma doing some good work in that.

Agreed. Abhishek hasn't disappointed with his acting, dancing, or even rapping. He does it all well. He's also mostly chosen good roles and films. But the sad part is that early on those films didn't do well and nowadays those films are the critically acclaimed good films but not box office successes.

Me too. I saw Mentalhood only for Karishma. She was so good but overall, the show itself was a letdown. And yup, Abhishek never disappoints but unfortunately the popular awards are given away as though mandir mein ladoo batt rahe ho.

Looking at current state of bachchan household, i say karishma dodged a bullet. Yes she also got divorced but at least she is living a carefree life, she seems so content and happy.

I know we always blamed babita for abhisek-karishma break up but may be it was not the finance but bachchans' hypocrisy and controlling behavior is what she foresaw.

Either acting skills and charisma to sail through role (amitabh bachchan, SRK, sanjeev kumar, govinda, sunny deol, nana patekar, raj kumar rao)

or good looks (like dharmendra, feroz khan, dev anand, salman, rishi kapoor, vinod khanna)

or both (Dilip kumar, amir khan)

If you do not have both no matter papa produce 100 movies for you, you will not be a hit

Abhishek does not have both good looks and acting skills

Comparison does not affect so much as these two, sunny deol was successful despite comparison, rishi kapoor too, amir khan too, salman, ajay all came from film family but are successful because they have one of the two
