Some stray thoughts on possible reasons as to why DW hates Mauli.

1) Tanvi waa married to divorcee prior being married to Vijay and no one knows about it or her parents had a very bad and ugly divorce so that's why the term divorce or divorcee give her icks.

2)Mauli ne Rahul ko cricket wale match mein chakka maarke jitane nahi diya isiliye DW ko woh pasand nahi aayi.

3)DW thinks because of Mauli Rahul had that accident and he was in the hospital.

4)DW Saas banne ke liye taiyaar nahi hai abhi.

5)DW doesn't want to become a normal Saas to a normal bahu.She wants to become unique Saas and wants kaleshi type of girls as her bahu.Must be one of her kinks.

6)Meri Marzi.... "pari hui mai mujhe na choona... mai joh chahu woh karungi"

What if the family was against Mauli because she was older? He would get married to a child then? Or because she was from a lower caste? He would find an upper caste woman? Or if she was from a different culture? He would find a Punjabi or Tamilian or Malayali? What did his wedding achieve or prove to his parents? That he was crap at taking decisions in times of crises?
Because not a single person changed their views on Mauli because Rahul is now a divorcee. Janki, Vijay, Swara, Tanvi, Vaibhav - none of them changed their view because of Rati-Rahul’s sham of a wedding. Alag se sach pata chala isliye they changed their tunes/or didn’t. Rahul ne divorcee ho kar kya ukkhaad liya? Upar se they destroyed the message that a bachelor guy could get married to a divorcee woman. Samuhik vivah ke track ka point kya tha phir?

I’m just happy that the track ended because it left me with a bitter taste for Rahul.

It would have been better that the wedding was a little later because most shows are destroyed when the leads get married. But I’m enjoying the positivity because that’s what a family drama needs at the end of the day.

1000% This is why I'm so disappointed in the Rati track. It didn't bring any change to anyone's mindset - and very true that they only changed their tune after everyone else's secret love story was revealed. If that's all it too why couldn't we start with that??

I'm most pissed at the fact that they had Rahul not only defend his decision to be in love with a divorcee as a bachelor (even though it was the last thing on his mind) but had that amazing monolog at the Samuhik vivah for absolutely nothing to happen. Instead, he became a divorcee to marry a divorcee. It does nothing to move the needle on this conversation or change a mindset. Unfortunately it just reinforces these negative stereotypes and the makers had an amazing opportunity to at least make a difference.

Unfortunately what's done is done we can't change anything and it does leave a bitter taste for not just his character but their overall story 😔😔

I too am glad that this track is over mainly because it made no sense and I couldn't be more thrilled to see it go. If we can move this story forward by sticking to the family everyday issues and nuances of joint family relationships (Mayne even bring in extended family) we'll be a little bit back on track. Now it's onto this marriage, which is definitely going to bring it's own set of drama.

Love the humor here though your first point seem plausible. Either Tanvi's parents or someone in her family experienced a divorcee that caused a lot of pain. Or one of her siblings may have been married to a divorcee and the marriage didn't last, which could be why she keeps saying that a divorcee will ruin Rahul's life 🤔

Agreed if anything it only proves that this family is flipper number 1.

Agreed they have kinda made fun of marriage and divorce in the process of this track and could they have tried to show this track more meaningfully without showing that Rahul marrying Rati only for divorce?.Yes they could instead they could have taken a bit more simple and orthodox path without any of the above drama you mentioned.

Agreed glad this track is over and looking forward to Rauli wedding and its seperate set of drama.

If the any of the first one u've mentioned is true then it definitely makes sense. Rest all r 😂🤣. Though I feel it's just her typical saas wala behaviour & trying to control her son's life.

Well no show is perfect & same goes for ours too. This track was just for DN's exit & that's fulfilled so let's just accept it even though we're all disappointed.

Let's just accept what's done is done & move ahead.
