Hassan falls to WAF, another wicket down!
SFU is staring down the barrel, all out seems inevitable!
10.4: Marco Jansen to Hassan Khan, OUT! TAKEN! Marco Jansen has the last laugh, courtesy of a brilliant catch by Rachin Ravindra! San Francisco Unicorns slip to 78/8 in no time. Jansen gets in a well-directed bouncer over off. Hassan Khan gets hurried and goes for the pull shot. It comes off the edge of his blade and is skied towards deep square leg. Ravindra runs in and takes a good diving catch to bring an end to Khan's knock of 13(6).

M. Jansen 3/27 (3.4)
Rauf gone, 9 down. WAF just one wicket away from wrapping up the innings!
H. Rauf 7 (8)
st Andries Gous b Rachin Ravindra
13.5: Rachin Ravindra to Haris Rauf, OUT! Goes down the track, misses and the keeper does the rest. Tossed up outside off, Haris Rauf dances down the track and looks to slog this but misses out completely. The ball is gathered by the keeper and Gous removes the bails with Rauf still wandering outside his crease.

All out appears imminent for SFU, no escape in sight

Congratulations to Washington Freedom for winning the final match.
Washington Freedom were the first to qualify. They were the first to get to the final. And Washington Freedom, fittingly, have won this contest. At an absolute canter too, which is symbolic of how dominant they have been throughout the season. What shone through, though, was how they adapted to the big occasion, even as their opposition floundered and fumbled.
Washington, remember, were put under pressure early in their batting innings. But a captain's knock rescued them and dared them to dream, which ultimately became reality courtesy a complete bowling display, led by Jansen.
A really, really bad day at the office for the Unicorns and the worst day for it to happen, doing their best impression of Murphy's Law, with everything that could go wrong going wrong.
SFU's innings comes to a close, 10 wickets down, all out!
WAF wins
