Mera Balam Thanedaar 17th June 2024 Episode Update: Veer Confesses His Love to Bulbul

Bulbul apologizes to Sulakshana, assuring her that she kept her promise and did not tarnish the family's reputation. Varadha acknowledges Bulbul as the top daughter-in-law for helping Veer in a case, protecting the identities of the girls involved, and fighting for the truth. Veer supports Bulbul in front of Sulakshana, who admits she isn’t angry but disappointed. She explains she wanted a suitable wife for her son, but despite her disappointment, she is happy for Bulbul's victory and won’t stand in their way. She then leaves.

Bulbul, worried about her age, thinks it might be best to stay away from Veer for a few months, believing it would be beneficial for both. Her earrings hurt, and Veer helps her remove them. She cries, contemplating the consequences, and excuses herself to cook, but Veer stops her, insisting she focus on her studies instead. She realizes he is a good person and resolves to prevent any harm from coming to him.

Meanwhile, Drishti meets Sulakshana, curious about why she was called. Sulakshana reveals she once considered Drishti the perfect daughter-in-law for her son, but Drishti's elopement from the mandap changed things. Sulakshana admits her mistake and seeks to rectify it, hoping for Drishti's support.

Veer tutors Bulbul, who struggles to remember answers. He scolds her, but she learns better through singing. She loses her balance, and Veer catches her, warning her to be careful. Bulbul, worried about Sulakshana's anger, feels obligated to cook for the family, but Veer denies her request. She then excuses herself to study with Varnika. In the meantime, Sulakshana gives the family bangles to Drishti, explaining she hasn't given them to Bulbul due to her anger. She praises Drishti as a capable and ideal daughter-in-law and expresses her desire to arrange Drishti's marriage with her son. Drishti, happy, assumes she will marry Veer but is shocked when Sulakshana mentions her son Vishesh, who is already married with a daughter.

Drishti, imagining herself strangling Sulakshana, snaps back to reality as Sulakshana explains she discussed the matter with Geetha, a beautiful lawyer with many prospects. Drishti requests time to consider the proposal.

Later, Veer is cooking when Vaayu suggests he take Bulbul on a date, believing she deserves it. The next day, Vaayu sends Bulbul to meet Veer. Drishti, determined to ruin their date, plots against them. Bulbul admires the decorations as Veer kneels and offers her a ring, expressing his love. Bulbul, puzzled, asks why he is holding someone else’s ring, leading Veer to confess his feelings for her.
