Good morning girls !!!! smiley4

I am Milismiley31I didn't want to get into writing again as my plate is so full at the moment. But, kya karein, that episode dragged me insmiley6and I was walking like a ticking time bomb....smiley11

First off, If the prior actor continued as Armaan, I would have asked him to take a hike and left the show a long time agosmiley7 I don't know the reality of what happened but that guy did come across as quite arrogant.

The current actor exudes a sincerity and honesty and therefore putting up with the show. These are just my personal opinions onlysmiley14. Did I say that I am a highly opinionated nutsmiley16?

Character Armaan delivered really well yesterdaysmiley20Not enough, but it is a good start. Or it could be just a sudden flash in the pan toosmiley11. I wish he continues to show the same spunk. The minute the episode started, we saw the actor getting into the skin of the character, he was animated, undone with a slightly crazed look . Just perfect for an always restrained, robotic individual who became uninhibited due to alcohol as well as his disillusionment. His disappointment with himself is amazingly emoted by the actorsmiley32He didn't overdo it to make it crass either.

It is almost like the DS is in the place of the writers, as he questioned her - why did you take me down so low? Mera mazaak kyun bana diya when I trusted you the most? Who gave you the right to destroy my shaadi and my relationship whether it is real or fake, it is MINEsmiley27Please know I hate the character of this ML with all my heart. But, that episode surely was a balm on a burning heartsmiley19 Need more groveling and TRUE GUILT please.

OK, there are a few things which I don't understand smiley44in the premise of this show. Please enlighten me, girls if I am missing something.

1. Why is he guilty about Ruhi's life and her kismet? smiley7Yeh kya Rohit or koi bhi uska husband ho, uska life ka guarantor or insurer hain? If Ruhi's husband dies, how is Armaan responsible for "spoiling" her life? Yeh kya koi agency run kar rahaa hain ki, he should get a replacement for her to keep her happy?

I bought some trees from a local hardware store and they told me that I could bring a dead tree with the receipt, in case it dies for replacement or money back. Mujhe toh yeh hi bahoot ajeeb laga. They are living beings, how do you guarantee someone's life, let alone your own life?smiley11

2. Why is nobody talking about BIL-SIL alliance ka morality like the guests at the wedding? It is like Armaan and Ruhi had played musical chairs, enabling elimination of Rohit and throwing out Abhira. It all seems like a highly convoluted and cruel game to get to their HEAsmiley7 Let us just say nobody knows this but the audience. But ek chalta phirta Abhira ko divorce deke, if he marries his SIL, how is that not scandalous? Where are the gossip mongers who should be the pillars of each show? If the guests don't care and look at this as business as usual, then kyun family ka ijjat ki padi hain in logon ko? They bring in ijjat as some elusive crown jewelsmiley7

3. Why did they thopofy all blame on Abhira for the deal marriage and the secrecy that followed? For argument sake, Abhira is single with no one in this world. She is only answerable to herself in this world. So deal marriage karein, yaa real marriage or 1 year ka deal and 1 year ka real marriage or kuch bhi karein, why should she tell anyone? Agar iss marriage ka asaliyat Poddars ko pata chalein, toh what is she going to lose in this?

Doesn't the onus on revealing the reality of his marriage to his family completely lie with Armaan? Technically, he is an adult, so he can do whatever the hell he wants. But, if there is any blame that needs to go around, shouldn't that be squarely in Armaan's lap? smiley7smiley29If his family gets to know this, it is his credibility or integrity which would have suffered, not Abhira's. So, yeh secrecy ka decision kiski huyi? The ML failed big time by pleading innocence and majboori here.

4. Armaan is a grown man, in a responsible job which requires him to assess people constantly. He is a lawyer, so if you look at the situation logically, they should trust him to have an exit strategy too. So technically, even if this were a deal marriage proposed by Abhira, what are the Poddars worried about? That Armaan is going to be taken advantage of? It would have made sense if the roles of Armaan and Abhira are reversed, that is Abhira is their daughter and Armaan is in Abhira's place. Not so much because of the man-woman thing, but because Abhira is much younger with not much exposure to the real world.

5. Armaan pleading majboori as the reason for his marriage, thereby throwing his mentor under the bus is the lowest an ML can gosmiley7. He had accepted responsibility of the daughter of his dying mentorsmiley19When he accepted this responsibility, what was his strategy ? To be continuously salty? He is like those stereotypical men of the 80's who would torture their wives for not getting enough dowrysmiley35 Ewww..... it is that distasteful. If he took the responsibility, then you can't continuously crib about this " virtue" of hissmiley35 Don't tell me he couldn't have declined the proposal. Agar woh married hota, toh he would have surely declined?smiley7

We don't even do this to a puppy if we took their responsibility because the owner is unable to keep the dog anymore. This is so patheticsmiley7

OK girls, random ramblings. There is so much more, but I need to stop now, this is enough to let some steam off.........smiley4

Sorry if I am spoiling anybody's weekendsmiley6

Good morning Milismiley31 and everyone! I completely understand your frustration with the character arcs and the convoluted plotlines. It's great to see your passion for the show and the depth of your analysis. Regarding the actor playing Armaan, I agree that his portrayal adds a new layer of sincerity that keeps the audience engaged. As for your questions: Armaan's guilt about Ruhi’s life and kismet does seem misplaced. It's unreasonable to hold him accountable for her happiness, especially since individual destinies aren't something anyone can guarantee. The morality of the BIL-SIL alliance is indeed questionable. It’s surprising that the wedding guests haven’t raised any eyebrows about it, given how scandalous it seems. Abhira’s secrecy about the deal marriage and its implications should indeed be Armaan’s responsibility to reveal. Blaming her entirely is unfair, as the decision to disclose should be mutual. Considering Armaan’s profession and his supposed maturity, the Poddars’ worry seems misplaced. Trusting his judgment should come naturally. Armaan’s behavior of pleading helplessness and blaming others for his choices is quite distasteful. Accepting responsibility means owning up to decisions and their outcomes. I hope the show addresses these inconsistencies soon to give us a more coherent storyline. Thanks for sharing your thoughts so passionately! Learn More,,,https://bigbasket.pk/

Fully agree.

But after all the mindlessness, atleast im drunk state he made some sense.

Unfortunately he's gonna go back to feeling guilty or indebted. Thats his fav emotion. First it was family, then Ruhi, then Akshara. Now Abhira is in the list too
