Jasmine Paolini Scripts History With Semi-Final Win, Sets Up Final With World No. 1 Iga Swiatek
The 28-year-old Paolini becomes the first Italian woman to reach the Roland Garros final since Sara Errani in 2012, adding to the wave of Italian success at this year's tournament following Jannik Sinner's run to the men's semifinals.
Carlos Alcaraz beat Jannik Sinner 1-6, 6-3, 6-2 in the semi-finals of the 2024 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells in March 2024.
