I think everyone has done a toxic storyline at some point in their careers. But I like that she highlighted her privilege and the lack of choice for a lot of actors - her own sister might not have the privilege she does. But this has been brought up by many actors that scripts are just not good. Once in a blue moon you get a good script but otherwise it’s the same old recycled stories and for many actors work is work - it’s a job and they have to make it work.

Wahaj previously pointed this out - lack of good scripts and relying on the director to improve it. Maya also in her interview said that actors ne ghar bhi chalaana hota hai and actors know what kind of script it is they are getting themselves into but sometimes you have to do it. Hiba also brought this up keh sometimes story ke characters kuch hotay hain and director sometimes makes the calls and the translation is ruined. At the end of the day it’s the directors call especially if he puts his foot down.

So yeah. Sad reality of PTV unfortunately. If you have a choice, good to make the right call. But if the makers and writer or director is stringent about things, not much you can do about it except do your job 🤷‍♀️ You have to survive in a cutthroat industry

I'll be a hypocrite if I speak against toxic dramas because I do watch them almost exclusively 😭😭

Alpha males are hot like Murtasim Khan

But not like Ranbir Kapoor in Animal, he was just sick

You just have to strike the right balance, you can't glorify abuse and assault in a romantic drama

I didn't know Sajal was this great in this drama. She is too good of an actor. No one comes even close to her. I also like her honesty. She has been lucky and she admits it. Though its not only luck. She is geniunely good in these stuff. Also, talks about how not all actor can be that lucky.

I watch masaledaar content too. But yes, obviously I can't defend them when someone speaks the truth thoughsmiley36

Trashy love stories are enjoyable.. though it really depends on what appeals me in when I start watching..

Agree about MK & Animal smiley36
