I came across these poems by Palestinian poets so thought to post them.

So many months so many dead.

Life is as usual yet perceptions have changed.

This is a strange new scary world or was that world a myth.

I believed in what the media told me now I know them for liars.

Dead children is bad, let's kill some more.

Give me the villains of old - the one's who did not speak with forked tongues.

The Israelis are a cautionary tale, becoming monsters in their hatred.

I want to make something v clear.

I am all for peace and hope no civilians are impacted on any side anywhere in the world.

however this is the ugly truth of how the terrorist outfit Hamas operates.

I hope they surrender quickly and return hostages so that peace prevails and civilians are spared from the Hamas atrocities of using them as human shields 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Terrorists are criminals.

Those who mass murder children are not any better.

If x commits a crime, you don't go to their village and kill all the babies in self-defence. Collective punishment is not self-defence. It is a war crime by international law.

Look! I am even citing daily mail articles to maintain neutrality about babies being killed!

please refer to my post above. Hamas is using schools. Hospitals. Mosques and also human shields. Israel is trying its best to avoid civilian casualties but a nation attacked has a right to defend its citizens.

For sake of avoiding further casualties - Hamas can surrender / return hostages it continues to hold since over 200 days now.

I concur - no more civilian lives should be lost. I hope Hamas stops killing their own. It’s really in their hands to return hostages and surrender and end this.

UN, ICC and ICJ are way more competent authority on adjudging war crimes and genocides because, y'know, they are based on the Nuremberg trials of Nazis who executed a genocide of European Jewish people. Nuremberg trials literally formed the bedrock of International Humanitarian law of whom ICC is an expert more than rando twitter dudebros.

India has already made its stance unequivocally clear, so you are "well, actually-ing" not only UN, ICC, ICJ but also MEA i.e. India's official stance. That is your hill to die on if you so choose.

not dying on anything :). Don’t worry. And yup I do know the meaning of that phrase :)

MEA has made it clear they want war to end. They also want hostages returned as well. Israel is working on both .. currently the time line they believe is end of year unless ofc Hamas surrenders and returns hostages.

Those examples you quoted btw. Don’t apply as this situation doesn’t apply here. Hamas the govt of Gaza attacked Istrael on Oct 7 and started the war and doesn’t want to end it. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Pray, tell how do you know what anyone wants to, or plans to do? Or, what anyone is 'working' on? Who died and made a random Indian civilian their spokesperson?

I quoted news sources where ICC, ICJ and UN adjudged otherwise. Your sources are twitter dudebros. I don't think ICC needs to take international humanitarian law classes from twitter randos very clearly reporting not from the comfort of their keyboards but on the ground.
