Imlie and Surya reach the education dept, board office , they meet the person incharge of issuing admit cards . He demands original documents to be produced in order to issue admit card, Imlie has only xerox copies which are not enough got the peron in charge . Imlie explains their situation and pleads but she is denied admit card , Imlie leaves the with heavy heart that she has wasted another year despite her best efforts . Surya is nit ready to give up this easily , he decides tk use his crooked rowdy ways to make the person issue an admit card , Surya enters the office n manhandles the guy, threatens him or dire consequences and forces him to issue Admit card . Imlie is horrified n dissuades him, reprimands him, but fails to stop him. Finally Admit card is issues tk Imlie by the person under great duress,
Imlie is furious with a surya for his rowdy behaviour n using underhand means to issue her admit card .
Imlie retorts she preferred waiting for another year instead of using underhand means of coercion. Surya states if things were not attainable by honest means they had to use underhand means .Surya challenges her that without using underhand deals she had to arrange meals for them both as they has no money on them , Imlie accepts the challenge ,
