Today’s clash will see a stellar batting line-up in action as the Sunrisers Hyderabad lock horns with the Challengers at the Chinnaswamy. Virat Kohli has been the lone fighter for RCB this season, while Faf du Plessis and Dinesh Karthik have chipped in occasionally with some decent performances. None have been match-winning though. With players like Klaasen, Head, Markram, Abhishek Sharma in the opposition, the RCB bowlers will once again feel the pressure. As it is the Chinnaswamy surface offers nothing much for the bowlers and having lost five out of six games this season, the confidence of their bowlers will be down. Will they be able to lift themselves up and come up with an inspiring performance tonight? Or will they Challengers continue to languish at the bottom?

"Good evening from MCS! Cam Green not involved in RCB's warmups , he's having a chat with Head and Cummins," quips our correspondent Kaushik Rangarajan from the Chinnaswamy. "Can't spot Maxwell yet. He had that hand/finger injury while fielding vs MI. RCB DoC Mo Bobat said yesterday that Maxwell had had 2 scans but there was no serious injury. Bobat had also said more changes could be in store and in line, Lockie Ferguson has just marked his run-up," Kaushik further adds.

Can see a few overseas players warming up. Guess there will be a few changes in RCB's playing XI tonight. Maxwell has struggled throughout the season, so he might make way for someone else..

We're back at the Chinnaswamy in Luru after nearly two weeks and boy, don't RCB need some home advantage. But it's just one home game for them before they fly to Kolkata and tonight they're against an in-form Sunrisers Hyderabad. A bowling attack under fire against a batting line-up on fire. The home team languishing at the bottom against the visitors placed fourth right now. A team with four losses in a row to take on a team with back-to-back wins in two games. Greetings to one and all, this is match 30 and we'll bring you the toss in 30.

Pitch and ground dimensions: 57m and 64m square boundaries respectively, 69m straight down the ground. Quite a bit of live green grass on it but it's patchy. Some balls will zip through, some balls will skid through, particularly with the new ball. This ground has had more spin than any other venue this season. This particular surface is a quite dry and it's cracking as well. The spinners will get consistent spin as the game goes on. Team batting second has an advantage here, reckons Aaron Finch.

Will Jacks: We know we haven't quite hit the mark, we lost games where we should have done better and had a better chance of winning. We have to reset, still have 8 games and qualification is still in our hands. It's about starting fresh, winning tonight and gaining some momentum from that. You don't need to put that added pressure on yourself. As players we already know the situation we are in already, so no need to talk about that, only makes it harder for us. I have been amazed by the support here in Bengaluru. Hopefully we can use the crowd support tonight. Need to start well with the bat and ball, need to make the powerplay count.
