This is creepy scary. It doesn’t seem like the shots were aimed at anyone but the wall. However, given that he has a hit on his head by that one gangster it’s hard not think something like warning shots.

It makes sense if it is not only a very bad prank by probably drunk persons but a warning as the shots had been directed to Salman's appartment (or at least the one whose balcony he uses to greet the fans).
Actually, I think, it was to instill fear into Salman as greeting fans never is a safe thing.
