I agree it was not needed. A really bad move from makers side. May be they were desperate to establish the characters with all the chaos and released whatever they had at hand. But didn't Rohit say that it was not related to the show.

I am watching for Sam as Abhira only. Hopefully she will blow us away again in this new jodi too.

Did he? I don't think he has given any interview. Maybe just a byte saying hes excited to take on new project and is not worried about comparison because he'll work on craft or something like that. Nothing about mock shoot.

At this point the story is poised for Armaan to shed his baggage, fall for Abhira, come clean to her.

So the bts of 18 + type romance of Ruhi Armaan as if they are having SR was completely unnecessary.

Even Ruhi Rohit bts pics were thanda. Sitting with cup of coffee. So meh!
