Perhaps SRK's ultimate love story and a new classic. Everything about this film is perfect, the casting, the music, the visuals, the mood, etc. Preity is looking her most gorgeous in this movie as a Yash Chopra heroine. SRK looked superb with his blonde highlights (wish he had used that look again but perhaps it's best that he only used it once so it could forever be linked to VZ). Rani provides emotional linkage in a supporting role that she transcends (I would have given her the FF that year over Yuva).

When you say SRK's ultimate love story, I've always found it hard to choose between VZ and DDLJ. But I guess the cross border element and the 20+ year wait and sacrifices by both takes Veer Zaara to a whole new level as a love story! Add to it that it's Preity seals it now for me.

He's acted well in Fan. But you have to consider the Giant of a movie it's going up against.

I think you and I are on opposite sides of the spectrum on KANK right? Irrespective of the cast, I really like the movie because it raises the situational question of "what do you do if you fall in love after you're married? Stay in a loveless compromise because of vows, commitments, kids or leave?" This is a much bigger discussion so won't write too much here. I actually liked Preity a lot in the movie. Her ability to pull off very diverse roles goes unnoticed because of her bubbly image but she was/is a terrific actress.

But yes- SRK Preity looked amazing together which is also a product of the stories they did.

Almost everyone loves Veer Zaara...well, it is easy to love VZ

However, I love Fan... just because it is so different...not an easy one to love...still close to my heart

I liked Preity in the movie which I mentioned but the rest the movie was cringe 😬 including sexy sam. I will as I told some write my in depth view in this movie on my perspective n its reasons I started to dislike kjo now days kjo don’t bother me as much still I’m very on him.

Swades is actually a good film though. Fan is just SRK masturbating to his own stardom.
