Our present generation is very fortunate. We are witnessing very special series of events of making of the long awaited temple of, "Shri Ram". Known as "Maryada Purushottam", having 12 out of 16 Kalas or attributes of the Divine incarnation. He was born in Treta yuga, followed by Sat yuga that was time when people lived with majority of Satwa guna.
Treta yuga saw some of Satwik qualities reducing gradually. Shri Ram showed how a virtous life can be lived under any circumstance. He never compromised. Most of us are aware of the sacrifices he made happily during his life span on Earth. But the actual story started in Dwapar yuga, followed by Kali yuga. People's qualities, tendencies, act, perceptions, changed drastically. They started looking for Divine figure to look upto. Shri Ram filled that space. Ram & Krishna are Lord Vishnu's incarnation, who is responsible for preserving, sustaining, the Creation.
During Ram rajya, his people were happy. Hence Ram Rajya is cited as an example of a good ruler. Which is the main reason of people's excitement about his Bal Swaroop's temple coming up in Ayodhya- "Shri Ram Janmaboomi". With many events organized by people impromptu. Emotions are running high. All are waiting for 22nd Jan 2024, the day when Prana Pratishtha of Ram lalla's idol will take place.
A lot has been written in print media along with Web World giving good information. Most of us have grown up reading, hearing stories about Him from our elders. "Ramayan", is an epic all should read & try to understand at least once in a lifetime.
