But you genuinely found him better than SRK in Jawan, I for one think that playing a double role with so many variations so effortlessly was tougher than a somewhat less layered role. Not to mention Jawan was a much bigger success story. So seriously asking you really found him more deserving than SRK?

Sam Bahadur should have won. A biopic is incredibly difficult to pull off and we always have terrible actors doing biopics now because of the Sonam Kapoor effect. I don't know if Vicky necessarily needed supporting actor.

If Shahid in Kabir Singh got snubbed I don't see how Ranbir is winning for a similar variation. Pulling off a biopic is so much harder.

I was taking in consideration the popularity point as well personally I found SRK's conviction as Vikram Rathore better than anything I have seen this year in terms of popular choices, waise the way Vicky is ignoring his own award is amusing to say the leastsmiley36

I don't say anything that I don't mean....lol....See I will tell you one thing....If SRK had done Animal...God forbid....he would have taken it a notch higher than Bira for sure......Ranbir's role in Animal was very tough....and he did it with perfection.......SRK did Jawan with perfection...and while there were so many shades in Jawan and he carried all of them smoothly......none of them were difficult for SRK.....SRK is capable of doing much much difficult roles....and has done in the past.......so just based on the difficulty level...I find Ranbir the most deserving this year....while Animal is a shit movie.....Bira in it was amazing....and all the awards belong to him this year....

Like I stated filmfare (a no one respects award function is OK). National awards deserve to be sued if they give an award to Overrated Kapoor for his clown act in Animal. He did not deserve any. But after this none should be forgiven.

I don't give a rat's behind to the FF awards......I will never understand why people are getting so hyper and upset over this paan masala award.....

Talking of Natl awards......Saif won it for Hum Tum......and not SRK....just because Sharmila ji was in the panel that year......Akki won it for some stupid movie.....so there is no credibility for NA either.....

I hope that Bira wins that NA....even if its not credible....sun kar achha lagta hai....smiley36

Bira winning the award over Vicky and Vikrant will itself make the national awards lose their credibility. They have a reputation to maintain unlike filmfare. smiley36No way is that joke actor winning a national award unless there is a serious conspiracy. Writing it in blood.

Yes there have been a few mishaps but overall they are more respectable. It will risk anything giving it to Bira for his joker act in Animal over Vicky's master-level craftmanship in Sam Bahudar. smiley14
