Deva is in pain he is unable to understand why Tara left him! He wraps himself with the blanket so that the world can not see him. Life without his Tara seems too hard for him to face alone. He closes his eyes and recalls the last letter that he read post Tara left.

His eyes are numb he is unable to believe Tara Memsaabh left him. He recalls all their vachan.
"Jiss din deva wapas ayega uss din main tumhe chodkar chali jaungi" this statement echoes in deva's head.
Deva screams "Kyun Tara Ma'am. Aaapne aisa kyun kiya?"
He hears someone asking "Kya kiya maine?"
He looks at her and it's his Tara
He goes and cups her face using his hands. He looks into her eyes.
Tara looks at him " Aap theek toh hai Mr malik?"
Deva does not respond he is just happy that he is seeing his Tara.
Tara tries to wave her hand to grab his attention. She snaps her fingers in order to make some noise but it's of no use.
Tara: Deva tum theek toh ho?
Deva looks at her.
Deva: Kaha chali gayi thi aap?
Tara: Main?
Deva: Haan aap
Tara: Main toh mandir gayi thi. She looks at him with her big eyes.
Deva: Aur ye kya hai?
He wipes his eyes while showing that letter.
Tara looks at that letter and reads it.
Tara starts laughing.
Deva looks at her with his puppy face.
Deva: Aap aise has kyun rahe hai ? Kya hai yeh?
Tara: Yeh !! Yeh maine thab likha tha jab aapne mere khane ko gusse main girayatha aur kaha tha main aapki problem ki wajah hun. Maine socha resign kardethi hun. Lekin kabhi himmath hi nahi hui aap jaise khadoos ko ye chitti dene ka.
She starts laughing.
Deva: aapko ye mazak lag raha hai? Deva looks very serious and his tone is evident enough to make Tara understand that this letter made Deva upset.
Tara cups his face with her palms.
Tara: kya hua Deva ? Theek toh ho ?
Deva : Main dar gaya tha. his voice is very evident to tell how much he was scared.
Tara: Kyun?
Deva : aap nahi janthi? Deva looks at her
Tara: Mujhe sunna hai aapke mooh se. Kyun dar gaye the aap?
Deva : Mujhe laga aap mujhe hamesha
before he can complete Tara intervenes her fingers with his and holds his arms.
Tara: Chodke chali jaungi ?
Deva nods after looking at her.
Tara takes Deva towards the bed.
Tara : Baithiye idhar.
She shows him the bed.
He follows.
she sits on the floor hugging her knees.
Tara: Bachpan main ek baar deva ka saath chodne ki galthi karchuki hun. Ab kabhi nahi karungi na hi sochungi.
Deva looks at her.
Deva: Sach?
Tara: Much.
Deva : Phir woh vachan ki aap deva ke wapas aathe hi mujhe hamesha ke liye chodkar chali jayengi woh kya tha?
Tara: Woh sach hai. Jaungi toh zaroor.
Deva looks at her again.
Tara: Deva ke wapas aane ke baad Mr Malik ke saath mera kya kaam. Main apne deva ke saath rahungi. Mr Khadoos Malik ko chodkar
Tara laughs. A smile creeps across Deva's face.
Deva: aapne mujhe khadoos bola?
Tara: Khadoos nahi hai aap. Mr Kadwa Karela Malik kaisa rahega ?
Deva: Aap bhi na
Tara starts running in the room Deva follows her in order to teach her a lesson.
they both get tired and falls on bed.
Tara: chaliye mr malik kaafi rath hogayi hai aap sojayiye. Main chalthi hun.
Tara was about to leave
Deva: aap kahin nahi jayengi aap idhar hi soyengi mere saath.
Tara looks at him again as he never said he wanted to be with her.
Tara: Are you sure Mr Malik? Aapko toh mera aapke kambre main rehna pasand nahi tha.
Deva looks at her
Deva: Haan nahi tha lekin ab main chahtha hun aap yahi mere saath rahiye.
He grabs her saree ka pallu and ties it to her hand so that Tara does not leave him in the night.
Tara looks at him and adores Deva which is hidden inside the mask of Mr Malik. Deva wipes his tears and makes her sleep on the other side of the bed and sleeps peacefully by just looking at her.
