What is happening today in Adyodya is using religion for a politcal agenda...

I don't know how the forces of the Universe perceive it nor do I know about all the people who are there or in front of their TV screens...it is simply my personal feeling...and I have a right to express my reservation that the political leader of a country doesn't just act as a 'nobody' among other 'nobodies' to honour this deity.

This proves your knowledge of this topic, this event, and I am not surprised, Western media has always claimed themselves superior than us, they have always tried to show how good they are and how bad we are, but news flash we aren't their colony, we don't need their standards of approval for our country, covering Hindu temples when Imam-e-qaba came to India was politicisation of religion, degrading Hinduism to please some people and countries was politicisation of religion, and you all can keep crying, our PM is a Hindu and has all the rights to partake in any activity of his religion, he did not do it for political gains, he actually followed all the strict rules for the event which no PM/Leader will do if he is doing it for some political gains, instead of meddling into our country's matters why don't you look at whatever superficial things you believe make you greater than us

And say whatever you want, keep crying, our lord has come and we don't need to know from you guys if it was right or wrong

I wonder if one has to pay then (and if yes, then how much).

Just a question: Aren't there wonderful original Ram-temples from older times one could have chosen as 'National Hindu Temple'? (I know that the original one had been destroyed to build a mosque which then got destroyed, too = falling back into thousands-of-years-old conquerors behaviour)

How much of thousand crore rupees this prestige object has costed (and still will cost). If my knowledge is right, there are other Ram temples in Ayodhya already?

If people will accept a Hindu temple in Vatican City and a church in Mecca, Medina then we will also accept what you are sayingsmiley24

I'm accustomed that, e.g., churches/cathedrals etc, can only be entered after having paid money to do so...especially the famous ones (it's only free during religious services)...that had been the reason why I asked.

I named it "national" because of everything (on a national/political level) that had been surrounded the (re-)building of the temple since decades...

Yeah...the funding...I suppose half of the costs may have got covered by the funding "by the devotees". (and no, I don't worry about...and labeling me an "outsider", does that make you feel 'superior' as you're an 'insider'?)

If you don't know then the Ram devotees around the world has collected enough fund to create many temples like this one, what's your exact problem? That a Ram Mandir is there or that our PM was there? As long as he is not doing politics in your country I don't think it's any of your business to comment on his policies, we are okay with him as our leaders, why don't you focus on your country instead??

Bharat actually was another name of Manu. We all think that the nation is named after Shakuntala-nandan Bharat, but it could just as well have been Srutapa-nandan Bharat. Shakuntala-nandan didn't mark any major disruption in the Puru dynasty

Manu was the first king, grandfather of Dhruv, while Bharat was the ancestor of puru Dynasty, which came around Mahabharat period (Krishna Avatar) and Manu was ruling during the Matsya Avtar

So how are things in Ayodhya today, the day after? Have locals started visiting the 🛕 now that it's inaugurated, or is it still restricted to the public? Are the priests of that 🛕 now active in daily rituals?

Friends ..it's a genuine request to keep political discussion and differences out of this thread. It is about Shree Ram and Pran Pratishtha ceremony and hope it stays that way.

There r other threads to voice ur concerns regarding any person or institution. Or u can open new threads.

Please..it's a humble request.

Also it's a request to Mods to not merge other forum threads with this one
