Yesterday's warm up match showed Pant as No 3 .. which prompts me to ask whether they will open with Rohit and Virat ...

Then what about Jaiswal ? Plus you have got Gill as a back up reserve ...

Similarly it seems Rohit and Dravid are inclined towards playing both Dubey and Hardik ..

Let's see ... Things will become clearer as tournament pans out ...

On a personal level I don't see any harm in Pant playing at No 3 . The only issue is throughout his career Pant has always been a soft ball player ..Meaning he comes at no 5 or 6 in the 11 th or 12 th over generally in which the ball is soft and loses its hardness ...

This time he will be playing I presume in the powerplay when the ball is usually hard ... Will be interesting...

Playing Dube gives an extra dimension to Rohit as 7 th bowler ... Plus Rohit will have to tactically use Hardik very carefully given his propensity to give runs in first two overs ..

So finally ,tomorrow, I guess by this time now,we will have a new government .
