Honestly after all the reels of her acting my IG algo has shown me, I don’t have it in me to watch this short film. Kudos to those that have 👏🏽

I had seen it before and I thought she was decent enough. But she failed to make a mark in the archies. She was passable in the emotional scenes but in the scenes where she has to look happy, she was bad. Khushi was horrible too. She had zero expressions throughout the film and her dialogue delivery is cringe.

Hope the two girls take the feedback from people positively and work towards improving themselves and their craft if they wish to continue acting.

She is decent here. Not a groundbreaking performance, but she fits the part and you can believe that she belongs there, in that world. My question is what the eff happened to her in the Archies? Is it that she's not comfortable with hindi so she got way into her head? Or she got freaked working for the big screen or understood Ronnie all wrong? To me it's that she didn't put the effort that should go in for a movie, she prolly considered the movie as yet another acting gig like this short film. You can't fault Zoya for their acting, because the same movie has four non-nepos who understood their character and did well.

What went wrong for her?

Thanks for not trolling her...smiley27......seriously after threads after threads being opened to mercilessly troll/bash her....this thread is like a breath of fresh air....smiley27..your questions are very valid.....any of your assumptions might be true....

I had seen this movie before when it came out and like you said she is not bad at all....

To those saying that the star kids should have been totally prepared......well may be they prepared well but the outcome wasn't satisfactory.....how many times do we prepare for an exam, a dance performance and yet the outcome is not good....happens with every one...

I still feel that Suhana would have done Betty's role better......although one or 2 scenes of hers were really good......and she was definitely not as bad as some are making it out to be.

Stop making excuses for her. She is privileged, went to acting school and has all the access to everything in the world - and yet was the most horrific debut in recent years. Even Sunny Deol's son is better than her.

She has actually insulted the whole point of nepotism by being how bad she was.

She had her chance and she failed. She needs to be thrown out now. Nobody is interested in seeing her. There are thousands of other girls in Mumbai who are more talented and are better looking than her that would've rocked the role.

To me the whole point of BW Actress besides the acting talent, is the glam and the aura. She has NONE of it. My god, even Esha Deol is a icon compared to this girl.

She should play more down to earth girl next door roles. She doesn’t have the oomph to pull it off. I kept thinking she was trying to pull the seductive smile Deepika had in cocktail or the sass Kareena had in K3G, and it failed.

girl next door roles you mean?

If she’s the girl next door, I’d rather go and drown

I mean I don't know if both are in the same boat. One is untrained, and another allegedly went to NYU. NYU for 2 years is a huge deal, unless she flunked out I have no clue what happened. Untrained people can improve once they learn the basics. NYU...the point is you know the basics already.

Like the Tira ad...with Kiara and Kareena, when you can't even do an OTT film is a lot. I'm just confused.

As I mentioned earlier she will improve as she work more in movies. She also needs to chose some good roles. Either characters were poorly written or their accents were not matching. Same with agastya.
