New Zealand Innings

31.4 Mustafizur to O'Rourke, OUT

Done and dusted! Full, fast and too good for O'Rourke. Slants into middle and off, and keeps coming back in with the angle. O'Rourke plays outside the line and the ball pings off the pads before smashing into the stumps. NZ have been rolled over for 98, and this is their lowest ODI total against Bangladesh!

This has been a bit of a procession really. Bangladesh won the toss, opted to field first on a pitch that had grass and were relentless. Tanzim and Shoriful bagged three each, breaking the back of this NZ batting unit. Sarkar then chipped in towards the end, cleaning up three batters. Mustafizur then rattled O'Rourke's stumps to bundle NZ out for 98, which is also their lowest score against Bangladesh in ODI cricket (where they have been bowled out or have batted the complete quota of overs).

Not much to write home about for the Kiwis. They lost early wickets and just could not recover. There were a few loose strokes too, perhaps an indication that they did not quite work out what was needed on the track, and here they are now, with just 98 runs on the board and hoping for a miracle of historic proportions to avoid their first ODI defeat to Bangladesh on these shores. Do join us in about 15 minutes for the run-chase.

Tanzim Hasan Sakib: It was really pleasant for me because we got them all out for a pretty low score. Hopefully we can chase this down, happy I could contribute to my team. In the last match, I bowled a little here and there. I had this mindset of bowling in the right areas and tried to give my 100% here. (Surprised by the movement) Yeah, wicket was very helpful for me. There was nip, swing and extra bounce for me. (On how he is feeling) Really good. If we win this match, I will be very happy.
