Who is stopping the Khans from including sex, violence, anti-Muslim elements in their movies? Woh bhi daal de aur barabari kar le Ranbir se.

Suhana is stepping into BW,Youngsters from influential families ,believe it is a respectable industry. The people on top will protect it.
It is the first time in Indian film industry a top star has acted in a film, where many veteran critics recoiled in horror..and one wanted to throw up. Mid level directors/actors may have got blockbuster rating for their sex and violence films..but those films didn't have the capacity to make 500 crs.
These films are not sustainable-because they have to satisfy their fans with more and more and more. I think film industry will pretend that nothing happened and move on.
All those who are claiming that there was never a comparison but still making sure to make a post about it instead of ignoring the thread.š¤£š¤£š¤£
thatās obvious itās the xxx scenes n other things done mentioned like Kabir Singh. Itās no dhoni or biopic or something one should be proud on. Itās plainly money spinner because some guys n women secretly enjoy this. Men more obviously expressing it women not so much. Still itās youth run. There is coprate booking because the only AMC (second largest chain in North America)only the newport center as good booking but the people sitting in those seats not the same as those booked. Maybe in Canada more seeing it then the USA ( as Canada gets counted with it and there more go see the Hindi movies). Regal the largest chain booking isnāt good as itās an adult movie. Plus in North America we see this kinds R rated movies do no big deal.Originally posted by: Blueeeee
The film is trash anÄ any well-established, Ć¼ber rich actor doing such films is eeks. The fact that grown-ass adults think that this is about who's whom's fave is seriously disturbing
Har cheez mein iss desh mein cultic behaviour kyon hai bhai? Har halat mein apne respective cult leader ko defend karna hai chahe phir you bear the social impacts of their actions yourself.
If x is such an oscar worthy actor, they could have filled theatres with decent movies as well? What is the need to make such horrid, disgusting films?
This could change again in next couple of years. Will depend what movies RK chooses next. He had screwed it before also after YJHD times. Overall RK always had more star power even during his flops compared to RS. RS still has to give a bigger OD than Besharam which came a decade back and was a flop. Not even discussing about Sanju or Animal opening. However RK is too inconsistent so is RS, so don't think this would be the end of it as this will keep on going till next few years at least.

So I just checked. Besharam 20 something. padmaavat 24 something Simmba 20 something. . Not that I care but this has already been mentioned twice in this thread so hope that helps.
No.
Once a competitor, always a competitor. Ameesha Patel still gets compared to Kareena, Shilpa Shetty to Rani and Madhurii, and Sunny Deol to SRK.

Strange. As per BOI Padmaavat first day was under 19crrs.
https://boxofficeindia.com/movie.php?movieid=3700Overall RS best hardly matches a 2013 movie. And then Sanju, Brahamastra, Animal etc opening are in different league. Point being RK always had bigger/better BO initial/pull. Even though I do not agree that debate is over.
yes they both inconsistent n thatās the point. Yet declaring both as the greatest is wrong š. Yet they should be compared as they contemporaries. Shahid is been here long enough yet heās put into their bracket vs the others who he debuted with due to age what not. Kabir Singh gave him a hit n since then ??????Originally posted by: TheDarkRock
