He did SEE the teacher the following week. He was going about his business taking a work call, after hours in his room, he had a cold so he was working from home, due to the Covid scare.

Suhasni and him had had a giant row over not supervising the maid properly. He had told his Dad he would move out in 3 week, he was getting a fabulous pad in one of the new developments. Some lucky beep he worked with had gotten his UK visa and was checking out

He was supposed to go sign on the lease today. He didn’t have enough money saved up to buy, but he could definitely charge the rent to his employer

Shankar Rao was devastated and disappointed. His sons were just not getting along. He sympathized with Suhasini, 3 men and 2 kids in the house. She loved her career, and was looking at a promotion soon, Shankar Rao had to go be with his ailing sister, as her daughter and son in law both traveled for work a lot.

The spider web of family commitment kept them all tangled up in unpleasant knots. He had witnessed Suhasini and Indraneel brawl. Kruti was sick too with the flue, and she couldn’t be left home alone with grandpa and Chachu. Chachu was too busy to do anything around the house.

Suhasini told Shankar Rao in blunt Marathi “ I am sad his wedding broke up, and he lost his mother, we are all helping him heal. He is arrogant and negligent. I cannot function like this”

“Ive picked up your kids from school almost daily last school year.”

“That was when you were about to be married and in seventh heaven”

“Exactly! Did you expect me to ignore my life event and slave for your family? Indra Neel was vicious

“Family tmhari bhi hai Indra”

“Indra” Shankar Rao warned

“I am doing the best I can. I have a demanding job. I don’t work for Maharashtra government” he took a pot shot at his Bhabhi

Suhasini exhaled audibly ready to give him a shouting, her daughter stumbled off the bed to go throw up, she rushed into the kids room

“She is like a mother to you” Shankar Rao was distressed

“No Baba Aai DIED” Indraneel was firm

“You cannot be hating the people that love you”

“I can move out”

“Whattt?”

“My friend Shishir Gokhale is moving to UK I have his flat now”

“WHERE?”

“A little out of the way”

Shankar Rao leaned wearily on the wall behind him

“I never thought such a day would come”

“Well… I cant continue to war with her”

“Call her Bhabhi” Shankar Rao begged

Indraneel’s expression tightened

The relationship had soured so much in the recent 5 years, there was no Bhabhi devar love… NONE!

His voice was hoarse and raspy, he sneezed into a towelette

The door bell rang, he wore his mask and walked over to open, he had no idea who was expected

He took a couple steps back, she was startled too

“Beemar ho tum?” she asked quickly composing herself

She wore a fire red cotton saree with a neon green sexy sleeveless blouse.

“Who are you here to meet?” he questioned not moving from the door

“Kunal Deshmukh?” she said coolly

“Why?”

“I am his math coach”

“YOU are his math coach?” he questioned

Suhasini was running toward the door

“Thank you your highness, I got this” shemuttered under her breath

Punky heard that

“Sure.. whatever”

“Come in

“I hate her I am not doing another class” Kunal screamed

“Feeling’s mutual bud” Punky was savage

Indraneel wished he was not sick, he wanted to carry her to his bed……….
