She was too jumpy to go back to her house. She went to Sulu’s and made rice, and shaak.
“I am in such a mess right now” she blurted her voice shaky and hoarse

“Because what?” Punky swung and sat on the counter…
“Because his family knows he goes on Tinder, so they probably know of it all”
“Tujhe lagta hai Tinder pe beqaar log jaate hain?”
“I feel Tinder pe hot blooded young people looking for a unencumbered good time”
“Sulu” Punky choked up
“Utar waha se, TU sikha rahi hai bad habits… Udbhav ko” she pointed to her child

Punky ate litte… she was too distraught
She went home in a daze, ajji gave her more food
She showered changed and fell face down in bed, and checked when her first period was the next day
Around 10:30 hours to go
She heard a ping on her phone
It was Suhasini
“Her I am sorry about today… we continue to work with him, its hard with Kunal”
“I love working with him, I have met all sorts of learning abilities and personalities Suhasini Ma’am
“Hey just call me Suha…”
“No that would be rude…”

“Hey I am sorry too”
“For WHAT?” suha was confused
“I am trying to take courses in human psychology and such so I can teach Math better, but I am not certified yet, so I am just a teacher”
“My son is very smart but out of control… my MIL pampered him too much. Since he is the first grandchild and all. He hasn’t gotten over her passing. Whole house is like that only”
“Must have been a wonderful lady”
“Hmmm” Suhasini sounded really sad
“I am sorry…I will try and do other things with him when I see him again, we are making some progress, so it will be good”
“Thanks haan?”
“You too”
She wanted to ask if Neel had said anything to her
But she didn’t
She paced her room and leaned on the window. She cursed her love for grooming make up stuff and travel.
She went on the app and swiped left and right for the next hour or so
Indraneel came up in her choice set again
She scrolled through his pictures
The fear that he might have reported her to the school came right back. She wanted to get out of this teaching contract. Didn’t know how.
I was out of town the last few days. So much to catch up.
