Dancing Shadows: Jhanak's Triumph and Urvashi's Dilemma
The story unfolds with Jhanak expressing her reluctance to take exams and endure the taunts at home. Urvashi, her mother, responds with scolding and physical punishment. Witnessing this, Anirudh intervenes, urging Urvashi to control her anger. However, Jhanak's uncle, Bharat, dismisses the situation, advising Urvashi to take the drama to the room and avoid bad luck during Shrishti's guests' arrival for her daughter Arshi's marriage.
Shrishti, while inviting Arshi to the festival, is informed by the organizers about Jhanak's reputed dancing skills. Despite Shrishti's initial mockery, Arshi decides to participate in the festival. The mention of the judges, Vrushali and Brij Bhushan, stirs Urvashi, causing her to drop a tea tray.
Urvashi tends to Jhanak's wounds, and the fest organizers' revelation about the judges increases her concern. Bharat instructs them to stay for the marriage festivities and avoid causing any problems. Shrishti continues to taunt Urvashi for not instilling values in Jhanak, while Arshi and Anirudh stand up for Jhanak, questioning Urvashi's actions.
Urvashi struggles to convince Jhanak to stay at the festival venue, fearing Bharat's anger. However, Arshi and Anirudh arrive with medicines for Jhanak, showing kindness and support. Anirudh questions Urvashi's excessive punishment, and Arshi encourages Jhanak to participate in the dance competition. Despite their efforts, Urvashi refuses, citing the priority of completing Jhanak's BA and finding a job.
The following day, Arshi suggests to Anirudh that they assist Jhanak in participating in the dance competition. Anirudh captures moments at the fest and later leaves for home. Shrishti is invited to be part of the fest, with Arshi expressing her willingness to participate in the dance competition. Urvashi, overhearing this, is shaken and drops a tea tray.
Back home, Urvashi tries to tend to Jhanak's wounds, and Arshi and Anirudh arrive with medicines. Anirudh questions Urvashi's harsh treatment of Jhanak, while Arshi encourages Jhanak to pursue her passion for dance. Urvashi, however, remains firm in her decision, fearing it may lead to losing Jhanak forever.
As Arshi prepares to leave for the festival, she calls out to Anirudh for assistance in dropping her. Anirudh agrees but is curious about their plan to help Jhanak participate in the dance competition. Meanwhile, Urvashi assigns Jhanak tasks in the kitchen.
At the festival location, Anirudh clicks pictures and learns from Arshi about their plan to convince Jhanak to participate. Rahul urges Jhanak to join, but she hesitates, feeling she has no chance to win. Anirudh is asked to return home to fetch Arshi's forgotten ghungroos. Urvashi instructs Jhanak to clean Arshi's room and join her in the kitchen. As Jhanak cleans the room, she hears music, and unable to resist, she starts dancing. Anirudh, who has returned unexpectedly, smiles at her performance.
Precap: Anirudh takes Jhanak to the festival and encourages her to perform. Jhanak dances and wins the competition. Urvashi is heard saying to Guru Ji that Jhanak is her illegitimate child.
