The narrative picks up with Jhanak's Mama and Shrishti discovering the aftermath of an altercation involving Jhanak. Reacting to the situation, Mama scolds Jhanak, and Shrishti, learning about Jhanak's identity as Urvashi's daughter, taunts her. Despite Vinayak's attempt to mediate and suggest leaving the scene, Shrishti persists in insulting Jhanak. Arshi steps in, but Shrishti insists that they leave, claiming their mood and time have been ruined by Jhanak's presence.
In an attempt to uplift Jhanak's spirits, Rahul suggests filling out a festival form. However, Jhanak is sceptical about being allowed to participate. Meanwhile, a moment of panic ensues as Appu falls into the river. She is rescued, and Anirudh reassures her about the promised gift.
At the festival venue, Jhanak and Rahul face resistance when attempting to fill out a form due to the requirement of mentioning her father's name. The festival committee discourages her from participating, resulting in disappointment.
Shrishti and Vinayak visit Arshi's Nani, and tensions escalate as Shrishti taunts Urvashi and Mama insults her. Despite Urvashi's attempts to diffuse the situation, she faces criticism. The family performs a puja at the ghat, with Shrishti continuing to berate Jhanak. Nani suggests that Urvashi and Jhanak leave the house, and Shrishti emphasizes the impact of Jhanak's actions on the family's reputation.
Upon returning home, Urvashi scolds and physically punishes Jhanak, with Mama and Mami finding amusement in the situation. Anirudh intervenes, opposing the punishment, but Urvashi persists, highlighting their lower status in the household. Jhanak, resilient, encourages Urvashi to beat her and questions her own pursuit of dreams.
