the verse is talking about wives.. They will be made young even if they died old... Dont mix that with houris....
In Islam the women have offered their Prayers, observed their Fasts, and performed other devotions will actually be superior than the houris... This is in the hadith and not a weak hadith like 72 virgins.. But of course falsehood like 72 virgins is something you people are attracted too...
According to Quran, men will be rewarded with Houris. Verses about Houris :
-Quran 52:20 : “Reclining on ranged couches. And we wed them unto fair ones [houri] with wide, lovely eyes”
-Quran 55:70–72 : “In them are good and beautiful women - So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -Fair ones reserved in pavilions.”
-Quran 56:22 : “And (there are) fair ones [hourun] with wide, lovely eyes”
-Quran 56:35–35 : “Lo! We have created them a creation (houri), And made them virgins.”
-Quran 78: 31–33 : Indeed, for the righteous is attainment -Gardens and grapevines and full-breasted [companions] of equal age.”
So it is clear that the Quran mentions the Houris as fair-skinned, wide-eyed, beautiful, full-breasted, and virgins.
the above certainly not about wives.
it could have plainly written husband and wife/wives will live happily in heaven. no complications. but there lies a problem, meeting your wife again at heaven is not going to be a good offer to make.
