Why is I like this?
I read your story, and it does not have a transgender main character or any reference to a transgender person. It is about two gay/bisexual/bicurious men whom the reader assumes to be cisgender since there is not one word about what gender was assigned to either of them at birth.
Own Your Stories is an effort to feature stories/poems that focus on transgender identity, life experience, and self-expression. According to the FAQ on the first page of this topic, writing about a transgender main character is compulsory for participation in this event.
You still have a few days to write a transgender-supportive entry.
