NO link you had connects Canadians to Amritpal Singh. And yes, it is hogwash. They don’t even know if it was Khalistanis behind the vandalism. The articles say they are still investigating the matter.
Modi and co have had their covetous eyes on the land in Punjab for a while. Since their nefarious plans were foiled by the Farmer's protest they decided to take a page out of their successful "Villify Muslims" playbook to do the same against Sikhs.
No one in Punjab that my brother came across was talking about Khalistan, everything was peaceful yet to look at Godi media it would seem that Punjab was in a lot of unrest and everyone was talking about Khalistan.
The same media was also busy lauding U.P, a state where men who had raped and tortured a young Dalit woman to death were exonerated by the judiciary of that state.
Similarly, I , an Australian Sikh was unaware of this vandalism against Hindu temples in Australia till someone in Delhi asked me about it. The matter is still being investigated but of course the BJP spin machine has decided it is this nebulous cabal of " Australian Khalistanis " who has done it.
Democracy, sovereignty, peace.. you name it and this video has it.
