Internet is shut down to prevent rumours. This has been done in many sensitive cases and in different states before also.

BJP itself is famous for spreading rumors. Internet is a form of freedom of speech. Taking it away from a state normally hints towards human rights violations.

You agree with what Congress leaders are saying but I have zero faith in Congress. BJP is not perfect but still the best option we got right now.

Lol this is it not Congress. This is international organizations reporting on the credibility of Indian news. I am no fan of Congress either. That does not mean I will turn the blind eye towards BJP's wrong doings. Not condemning a party when they are wrong because you strongly against another is very dangerous.
There is no freedom of press left after Modi has cracked down on it. Internet shut down is another way to prevent the truth of narrative challenging what BJP is saying to be put forward.

Also i would condemn only if i find them doing something wrong. This Amritpal guy wants khalistan which thankfully BJP is opposing. Why would i condemn it then. Kuch bhi.
