Short Review: Vijay writes a grudging letter to Raghav, from whose devilish influence he has rescued Pallavi and the whole family. Why does Vijay's victory feel like defeat? Raghav reciprocates with sarcastic modesty and consolation. I admire the author's understanding of both men's personalities and insecurities. This two-shot was written when the show was barely one month old, and both men were merely annoyed by each other, not yet wishing each other crushed and dead. The author manages to balance the expression of resentment and acceptance from both sides, and the reader gets to see Pallavi from two angles. Since this author left India Forums sixteen months ago, could the FFEditors please migrate both chapters into one book?

Short review: Although I'm not a fan of the actual show, I always liked how Imlie wasn't forced to be with the toxic ML no matter what and got a second chance at love with Aryan, which is why I love reading AUs of Aryilie! And this one is undoubtedly one of the best I've ever read! Almost perfect grammar throughout, and cop Aryan is honestly to die for. And what with him being in a position to help Imlie you'd think it would quickly devolve into a typical bookstagram romance, but the author keeps it delightfully slice of life. Her characters burrow into the heart and take no name of leaving at all....

Short Review: Raghav mourns his brother Arjun and writes him a birthday poem in the diary that was once mentioned by Farhad on the show, but never seen. This story brings out the intense emotions associated with memories of ordinary events. I liked the depth of narrative detail in this story that paints the characters and their relationships. It could benefit from editing: the kinship terms shift from Hindi and Tamil to Telugu, and it's atypical for Hindus in India to lie in a grave ... yet it's commendable that Raghav's poem is the sort that a drunk would write, unlike the author's own polished poetry in other fictions. Since the author left India Forums six months ago, I request FFEditors to migrate this story.

Short Review: I am recommending my own work again because it's a rather unique mythological story that presents Govardhana Hill as a character. This story owes a lot to the description of torrential rainfall and the uplifted hill in the text of Harivaṃśa (readers may check the Comments to compare), but I elaborated on the imagery, rearranged it, and connected it to other myths and concepts from geology, biology, and spirituality.

Short Review: 

A beautiful collection of one shots about a little girl (Pihu) who never met her father (Ram), and then she and her mom (Priya) go to stay at Mr. Khadoos's place. Nita is a fantastic writer who makes the reader see otherwise complex things from Pihu's innocent eyes, her yearning for a family and the journey of Mr. Khadoos to Pihu's papa. It is a delight to witness how the relationship of trust develops between Pihu and Mr. Khadoos, and Ram and Priya with each chapter.

Some friendships are just beyond mortality and human existence, and I love how this is expressed in a simple way and the role white lilies play in the story. Shibani is a wonderful writer.
