basically they had to keep the taste of the liquid intact in the solid. adding besan & making khandvi certainly dosent give off chaas taste. for eg in gurkiraats case the solid had the main flavor of masala chai

Ah okay. Thank you, I understood the challenge finally.

Anyways, I don’t think Gurki’s biscuit base would have had masala chai. May be the masala chai’s spices. The biscuit base is a meringue cookie! He did not soak the biscuit. Just put some masala chai on the bottom of his serving dish which the biscuit soaked up. Unsure how he incorporated the masala chai in the Mascarpone cheese too! If it is only the spice mix of masala chai then again it is not keeping the taste of the liquid intact!

Yeah, a buttermilk infusion will not be the same as drinking buttermilk!

i think the bigger partiality than the advantage was all went to black apron challenge which would be unfair to us, neutral audience, watching the show when the dish of the pink team was evidently poor due to amount mirch added but blue team still went to the challenge...shouldn't they be finalist at this point? maybe have black apron amongst the pink team members and i wouldve wished for a double elimination on friday of Aruna and gurkirat lol 😂 (imagining what wouldve happened to gurki if he was chosen for elimination 😂 🤣 jas yas island wale challenge mei itni nautanki kari ti usne lol)...but, alas, sachin is definitely one of the contestants to be eliminated...who's the other dunno (probably amongst swarna or shanta)

When u have mango flavoured shrikand, a coffee flavoured is not an innovation. It turned out to be a disaster. While tasting Aruna’s thali Garima & RB had so many comments but while summing up amongst themselves they almost covered it up. Vikas was not happy too but did not tell much.
When the thali was presented from Suvarna’s team Garima asked where is the innovation. RB gave her all the answers while tasting. Chef Vikas ka comment dil khus kardiya. When two people fight for the same stuff while eating together it indicates the food is so good. He thoroughly enjoyed Suvarna’s thali. Garima was uncomfortable but RB enjoyed the most out of Suvarna’s thali.

Feedback to the contestants -

1. Team Aruna - RB never passed on those many un flavourful comments to Aruna’s team. Just told coffee shrikand was not nice. The mere thought of it makes me 🤮

2. Team Suvarna - the flavour queen of this season 👸 channa didn’t work was the only feedback. Why can’t he appreciate her journey here/ talk about how the food was so enjoyable. Vikas did it and then RB & Garima chimed in but again Garima was not comfortable.

End of the day, Suvarna won. Happy for her and Sachin & Shanta 🙂

Show’s format was changed to make them all compete for the top 6 position. So wondering what is their advantage for tomorrow’s task!
