Aruna- I was confused at first, is she making a khandvi or a pithodh? Sure, dishes have same core ingredient and look similar but pithod is usually submerged in gravy/liquid. Second thing as @musicalstorm mentioned the method to prepare the fafda dough was wrong. Also, she mentioned the chaach being used in pithod but what about the fafda?
Regarding Swarna's dish, Ranveer was just blabbering IMO about the use of kokum in savory cake. I've seen kokum in cheesecake so I think the dish should pan out fine lol. I don't Swarna's dish is innovative even though it is interesting one.

Shanta- Dish wasn't her best dish from a visual standpoint. Sangria was kinda spread out unevenly. Pear wasn't properly cooked and Vikas pointed it out during the taste. Cold-cut chicken seemed crumbly and was expected she cut it last minute.
Aruna- Dish looked so-so and the papaya salad was poorly plated. Mint and yoghurt chutney was nicely done though. But because the fafda dough was hard and still used last minute, I would call this a so-so dish like not astonishing or something.
Nayan- he didn't seem confident in his dish and did mention about during the cooking time. Visually, not his best looking one. It seemed like the tomato saar didn't work from taste properly also in a solid form.
Gurkirat- Dish could've looked better w/o the white stuff. It looked so cluttered. Seemed that taste worked in his favor. Cha
Sachin- Pomme soufflé pani puri was pretty nice looking but what was beneath it was bit overdone. Idea of paani puri as a granita was nice but still could see the paani puri ka liquid coming out so it wasn't much interesting visually.
Swarna- I felt it was a nice presentation but the kokum syrup droplets was looking off presentation wise. Seemed that the solkadhi's flavors didn;t work in her favor.
Precap- lol quite obvious which team is winning. 😆
