These contestants r better actors than cooks..watching their reels is more fun.
After first two weeks I was watching just tasting part..this week didn't watch that too. But insta dekha sabka. Priyanka seems to be a favorite of everyone. Priya said usko Priyanka bahot pasand hai, Sachin tasting reel me khud se usko taste karva raha hai, Nayan calls her Di, Santa n Priyanka already said they r close to eachother, Deepaji liked her..girl seems to be likable in real life.
Also..she messes up tasks n talks a lot..but from whatever little I saw she hardly cribs about anything

Shanta is a smart. She knows her competition very well. She understands the politics going on. Choosing Gurki as captain was smart, dude's pretty laid back and doesn't take stuff seriously.
But shukar hai he atleast cried. Shows ki banda is still interested in competition, post the 0/15 masala challenge, mujhe laga koi interest nahi hai Gurki ko

It's such a bad thing that they paired Sachin with Swarna on an intentional basis -- my hunch is Sachin sensed partiality and wanted to go with the flow and get over this competition thus tried to make himself look submissive but I could be wrong too --- his potato accordion & egg meringue were superb. I do wish Sachin and Nayan were in Shanta's team instead of Aruna thus might've preferred this trio ki pairing even if the food wasn't the best or the episode wasn't the best.
It was unfair to make them sit out all the other challenges. At least they could have called them to help. If Priyanka was swapped with Aruna’s in this pizza challenge it would have been Santa, Nayan and Priyanka in black apron challenge. Santa got an advantage and used it to save herself. She knew that if Aruna was there with her they would not eliminate their team plus Gurki’s fumbling in actual helped her. Aruna was safe after that isolated black apron challenge which she skipped due to immunity pin and created drama on twitter.
She chose Nayan to be her 3rd team member as she knew he works well without any drama. He is quite focussed when compared to Gurki/ Priyanka. Although in this challenge Priyanka was doing the bulk of the prep. Either ways she could choose only one amongst Priyanka / Nayan. She wants to be safe at the end of the day. She is also learning to use advantages when she gets.

For their next challenge they had to make a dish with local flavours. Shantas dish was the best and she won an advantage. Aruna’s dish was blah but was praised to the skies.
The next challenge, Shanta got to choose her team and the other teams captain. Her team comprised of NJ and Aruna and she chose Gurkirat as captain of the opposite team. They had to make three pizza - veg, non veg and fruit. Needless to say Shantas team won. Gurkirat cried because he was in the bottom.For the black apron challenge, they had to go through a treasure hunt to get to their main ingredient.
Tomorrow they’ll cook on a grill.
Pretty boring week
Cooking on a grill is not knew. They did it in their first service challenge and Avinash got praised. RB ne bada gyaan diya. Looking back I feel whatever gyaan he gave was very basic. I am stunned that none of those knew these! May be people prefer to eat bbq food from a restaurant than do it from the scratch.
They keep repeating the challenges. If the challenges were so limited why do a three month series.

Gurki wants to internationalise indian cuisine. Read in ‘the print’s website. This is what most fine dining Indian restaurants do.

Happy to know Santa is being smart along with earning praises for her dishes..
