Not just toned down. Improved also.

Sensible? definitely yes.

Some characters are improved, some have gone down.

For instance Sindhu has gone down. Again ranting about the same thing.

She still feels that Raghav has something for Madhu.

Yes, and every character has screen space. Not like Ghum, wherein 80% stood like statues making faces.
