I have learnt it pretty early that this is fiction and these are imaginary characters. No emotional attachement.

Believe me, otherwise one cant survive in this ITV world without going insane.

I have seen cringeworthy plots, bumped off my favourite characters, did SWOT for plots that I just couldnt swallow with my logical and ethical brain and a lot more. I have seen people go switch on in front of camera, they were different people...once the camera was off, they were fighting like cat and dogs..in front of camera, puppy eyes, romancing...eeks. Now I dont believe anything I see in the serial.

Get into that mode, it is all fiction. Put your Brain into On/Standby mode and watch Ghum. Not just Ghum, any serial for that matter. No emotional involvement.
