Chapter:-"2"
After some days kalyani is preparing for the day as she sees malhar is coming after doing his exercise and goes in washroom for freshen up where she puts some potatoes to boil for breakfast before she goes for bath in washroom. When she comes in room malhar had already wore his uniform and is drying his hairs where she lovingly blew a kiss which he happily recieved and wore her saree. She opens her saree to wear as she had only worn her shape wear and is trying to make the plates as she bends a little to correct her plate her head spins and she closed her eyes though she feels sudden darkness in front of her eyes but as it is for short time she didn't told malhar but feels strange from inside and called malhar for help.
" sirf help kijiyega romance ka time nhi hai abhi mujhe parathe bhi banane hai aaj kaka nhi aayenge.."
Malhar made a face making her laugh but he didn't listen and as he made plates he caree her waist and kissed her lightly as he pins up her pallu. In meantime malhar did the morning Pooja kalyani made breakfast and he takes his files in bag kalyani serves him his breakfast.
" Are tum baitho naa ., kaha jaa rahi hoo aur ye mera hi khana kyun banaya ..."
" malharji mera maan nhi hai pta nhi kuch khaane ka man nhi kar raha ha subah coffee ke saath biscuits liyethe to abb kuch khaane ka man nhi hai .."
" aree ye kyabaat hui bina nastha kare main tumhein Jane nhi doonga , Thora sa hi khaao lekin Khao.."
" malharji nhi...mera nhi hai ...sachmain..." but he didnt listen and made her sit on chair after eating two three bites he let her go but feels odd as she rarely missed her meals she is always particular about her routine but sensing some stress of work he let it go and as they leave together after praying to God a flower falls on the plate from the lord idol as she leaves and she smile as they both left in their respective cars.
Kalyani is feeling low from two three days but didn't bothered malhar about it as she doesn't want to go to doctor for checkup and tries to avoid medicine but today as she is feeling indigestion type and also her head again spins she thought to tell malhar about this today as she couldn't able to even work today ., as being on the goof post today she could not even handle a single thing properly in afternoon she goes to take a coffee for herself but it doesn't taste good according to her
" ye kaisi coffee hai yaar kuch acha nhi lag raha hai aaj mujhe ..."
" kalyani relax subah se dekh rahi hoo itni tensed kyun hai ., agr tabiyat sahi nhi lag rahi hoon to ghar pe rest le vaise bhi pichle dino workload ki wajah se tune bilkul aaram nhi Kiya hai aaj jyaada kam nhi hai tu jaa hum sab dekh lenge..." Shilpa her friend advise her
" nhi yaar mera maan nhi hai ghar pe koi nhi hai aai abhi aayi nhi hai aur mera maan nhi hai isse acha tum logo ke beech hi lag raha hai chodo thank you.." she goes in her cabin but suddenly feels to throw up so went to washroom and after throwing up she feels relaxed but weak Wiping her face from towel she sees her phone as it beeps with some message and she unknowingly sees the dates and it reminds her something as she remember she missed her periods which feels unusual to her her face lightens and she smiles and feared also what if she thinks is not correct but it can be true . She thought it to confirm and leaves from her office after informing her hr.
While going to home she stops near medical shop and buys two pregnancy kits after reaching home she took out the packet and did the test till the result she feels anxiety building up in her as she sees the second line Coming her hand reached to her mouth and she smiled through her tears she shouted in happiness as she jump but suddenly realizing her actions slapped herself lightly and puts her hand on her tummy absorbing her new feeling inside her she feels elighted and wants to share this news with her husband finally she feels that day for which she is craving for so long him telling the best news of his life. She wiped her tears and smilingly dials his no.
He is explaining his colleagues some important points and is discussing some case where his phone buzzed and he frowned seeing kalyani phone at this hour he messaged her to call back later and gets busy in his meeting . Kalyani feels sad as she could not share this new with him now but thought to give this new to him in some special way and goes fo express his gratitude to the God for giving this special phase in her life.
In night after the hectic day malhar comes home tiredly and totally forget how kalyani had called him in afternoon , he moved towards his room and finds her reading a book on the couch , he smiled as he sits beside while she greets him happily after a long tiring day he puts his head on her lap as she caress her hair
" kaisa tha din ., thake hue lag rahe hai mai paani leke aati hoo.."
" nhi..Maine aate hue le liya tha Haan bass meetings thi phir ek case pe kaafi discussion Hua inn sab main aaj bohot thakan ho gyi ...tum batao kaisa tha tumhara din ..."
" mera din aaj bohot acha tha ..." kalyani smiled but mentally scold herself as malhar opened his eyes in amusement she is ready to share this news with him but suddenly reminds how she didn't take up any confirmation from the doctor as these kits are just alternatives till they go to doctor and she don't want to feed this half happiness to him if this turned out to be a false alarm he and she both will be hurt she has fo wait for doctor confirmation then she will inform him.
" kyun bhai aisa kya khaas tha tumhare din main ..."
" aree matlab aaj office ki jo project main itne din se le rahe the presentation sab sahi raha aur phir aaj main jaldi aagyi isliye aapko phone bhi kiya tha par aap phir bhool gaye .." she hurriedly built her sentence so that he didn't get more suspicious of her behaviour
" aree Haan sorry vo main receive karna bhool gaya mujhe laga hi agr kuch baat hoti to tum dobara call karti .. I am really sorry kalyani main sachmain bhool gaya ..."
" are its OK malharji aap sorry mat boliye acha aap fresh hokar aaiye main khana lagati hoon ..."
Kalyani gets up to heat the food while malhar goes to freshen up after a light dinner both had retired to bed for sleep while malhar sleeps hugging her but kalyani mind is wandering again and again to the morning incident what if it's true she thinks while caressing malhar hand who had put his hands unknowingly on her belly though she had gone to doctor but she also said to wait for tomorrow till the reports arrives she is also not sure about this but is same thinking like her . The whole night she didn't able to sleep properly or not she can share this to malhar .
In Morning kalyani suddenly feels pukish while making breakfast and rush to washroom making malhar tensed as he knocks the door after sometimes kalyani comes feeling weak as she wipes her mouth with towel
" sit ..kya Hua tumhein ek dum all ok sab theek haina doctor ke pass chalna hai aur ye dum vomit .."
" main theek hoon malharji shayad bass acidity hogyi aap fikar mat kijiye main chali jaungi doctor ke pass dophar main aaj main holiday liya hai rest karne ke liye aap pls breakfast kijiye aapko late ho raha hai .."
" akeli chali jaungi ka kya matlab hai main chalta hoona saath main ., aur kalyani Maine tumhein kitni baar mana kiya hai ki jyaada khata mat khaya karo tumhein acidity ho jaati hai dawai kaha hai tumhari main deta hoon tumhein..."
" nhi nhi..aap kyu itni tension le rahe hai maine raat ko li thi jab hum soye the Maine Suna aapko shubham se baat karte hue aaj aapko ek case ke liye jana hai jaiye naa pls main sambhal lungi aur agr kuch Hua to I promise mai aapko phone karke bula lungi pakka ..aur abb iss baat pe koi discussion nhi hoga OK.. "
Kalyani...acha pls take care ..chalo aao khaa lo kuch.."
After a light breakfast malhar while kissing her forehead leave not before telling her to take care of herself and tell what the doctor said while kalyani relax as he goes this is really hard to keep this suspense more now she can't wait more to know what is truth seeing the time she gets ready and goes to the clinic , after sometime her reports and she gets her pregnancy confirmation making her jump in sky in happiness, in midway of home she buys some flowers and happily put it in her car seat .
" malharji dekhna aaj aap aapko sabse badi khushi milegi, I am so excited ..." she smiled as she drives to home and decorate the home according to her likings actor completing her work she changed into some comfortable clothes and dim the lights after it take some fruits and puts her reports envelope on the table of room .
After an tiring day malhar comes and as the door gets open her heartbeats and she sees him with nervous expression. Where malhar feels happy seeing home so decorated but seeing his wife expression he gets confuse and puts his bag on table where pulls her towards himself
" mohtarma aaj ye haseen se khwab dikhane ke liye koi khaas wajah yaa iss handsome se husband pe aur pyaar aaraha hai kya .." He nuzzled in her neck making her feel shy
" Mr. Rane iski bohot khaas wajah hai par vo aaoo dhoondhni hogi , jaiye table pe aapke liye surprise rakha Hua hai .."
Malhar frowned but goes where he sees just an white envelope and in small letters the clinic name is written , he sees his wife next where she expressed to open it .
Unfolding the paper as he started to read he gets numb and doesn't say anything as he just stare the paper after receiving no response from him kalyani softly moved towards him and softly take the reports from his hands and taking his hands puts it on her belly making him stare her with his nervous face ., kalyani cries as she nods her head and malhar face forms a small smile .
