Perfect update… beautifully written 

emotional moments when Geet meets her family

of cos they want Maan to be comfortable

so Geet and Maan stay in her parents room

well they give Maan clothes to wear per tradition

as expected Geet's mom berates for her for not wearing her marriage symbols

Geet's anger was reasonable

liked that he assures her that he will handle everything

He did it for her. He wanted her to be part of her sister's wedding.

He is right. She would have been the center of gossip if he did not come.

We still don't know what Maan is doing and why he showed up. But it must be for Geet's  benefit.

Part 34

M- Aur log mere baare mein puchte toh?

G- Keh deti ki kaam tha toh tum nahi aa paaye. Yaa keh deti ki hamare beech mein kuch problems chal rahi hain

M- Acha. Tum keh deti kaam tha toh ye aas paas ke log baatein nahi banaate. Aur kehti ki hamare beech problems hain ye keh kehti toh tum tumhari iss behen ki bhi shaadi tutt jaati aur dusri ki bhi nahi ho paati. Aur sab tumhe zimmedaar thehraate

G- Woh sab main handle kar leti par tumhe toh pareshaaniyaan nahi hoti naa

M- Tumhe toh hoti. Aur main nahi chahta tumhe koi pareshaani ho. Main ye handle kar lunga. Trust me

Maan says with such a sincerity that for a second Geet’s heart stops to just hear him and believe his each and every word

Her gaze meets his

His eyes were as dark and deep as the deepest night

That sense of assurance in his words was filling her heart

M- Geet, pichli baar main tumhe tumhari pareshaaniyon se nahi bacha paaya. Main nahi chahta tumhare ghar pe tumhare saath phir se aisa bartaav ho. Isliye mujhe ye karne do. Aur rahi baat meri aur tumhare parivaar ki; main jaanta hoon unn logon ka tareeka galat tha par main ye bhi jaanta hoon ki woh tumhari bhalai aur khushi ke baare mein hi sochte hain. Apno se jhagda mat karo, Geet. Jab apne nahi hote naa, inn lamhon ko hi hum miss karte hain. Aur inn lamhon mein karvaahat ho toh pachtaave ke siva kuch nahi reh jaata. Tumhare aone hain, parivaar hai. Tum bohot lucky ho. Aisa kuch mat karo jiski wajah se tum baad mein khud pachtao

‘Geet beta, idhar aana!!’

Geet’s mom knocks and calls for outside

M- Tumhari maa bula rahi hai jao

She nods and walks out

She goes to the living room, jahan poori family dining table ke aas paas khade hain

G- Kya hua, kyun bula rahi ho mummy?

Ma- Dekh, jamai je liye ye sab khana banaya hai. Unko pasand toh aayega naa

Geet looks at the table

G- Pakode, pulao, palak paneer, dum aloo, dal makhni, biryani, raita, kheer, malpua. Itna saara khana?? Hafte ka khana aaj hi bana liya kya?

Ma- Arre humein samajh nahi aa raha tha, jamai ji ko kya pasand aayega. Isliye sab hi thoda thoda ban aliya. Acha ye bata, jamai ji ko karma toh theek laga hai naa, unhe koi takleef toh nahi ho rahi

G- Seriously, aap logon ko kya zarurat thi ye sab karne ki? Waise hi ghar mein kamre kam hai aur shaadi ka ghar hai. Hum log hotel mein reh lete. Ab aap log kaise adjust karoge?

Ma- Arre sab adjust ho jaayega. Damad pehli baar aa yah ai. Who bhi ghar ka bada damaad, uski khaatir bhi naa krein hum

G- Aap dono ne toh room chodh diya. Kahan soyoge raat ko?

Ma- Arre hum dusre wale bedroom mein so jaunge. Tumhare room mein. Main aur tere papa upar aur teri behenein zameein pe

G- Minu ki shaadi ho rahi hai, usko zameen pe toh mat sulao. Ek kaam karo, main aur Mehek neeche so jaate hain. Aap aur Minu upar so jao. Aur papa Maan ke saath so jaayenge aapke room mein

Everybody srarts laughing except Geet

Mehek- Di, Jiju ko aap alag sulaogi aur who bhi papa ke saath. Sidha sasur ji ke saath. Hye re bechare! Itne bhole toh hain

Minu- Haan, unko waise bhi yahan itni problem ho rahi hogi. Mian so jaungi zameen pe. Aap jao jiju ke saath sone

Mehek- Arre Jiju, bhi aa gaye

Geet turns to see Maan walk towards them in the kurta pajama that her mom gave

Both Geet’s sisters giggle seeing her expression

Minu- Di, kuch pakad lo. Gir mat jaana

Her world regains motion once Maan walks past her

Geet’s parents welcome him to the table and gives him a seat at the bets chair

Geet was going to sit at her regular place but her mom signals her with her eyes to sit beside Maan

She sits beside him

He gazes at her

She looks back at him

Ma- Kurte pajame mein aap bohot jach rahe ho, jamai ji

Maan bows his head a little in acknowledgement

Ma- Chailye jamai ji, riti-rivaazon ke hisaab se pehla niwaala aap Geet ko khilaayi aur Geet tu phir apna pehla niwaala jamai ji ko khilana

Both of them are little astonished and embarrassed by this

Geet starts to protest

G- Par Maa, ye kyun—

Before she could complete Maan puts the first morsel into her mouth

Geet is surprised and retaliates by stuffing Maan’s mouth with the biggest morsel

Maan almost chokes on the food

-Cough-

-Cough-

Ma- Arre arre! Jamai ji aap thik toh hai?

Geet gives him water

Ma- Akal nahi hai iss ladki mein! Koi aise khilaata hai??

Geet smiles a little kia cha mazza chakhaya

M- Koi baat nahi. Geet ko mazzak karne ki aadat hai, aunty ji

Ma- Beta, tum mujhe aunty—

G- Mummy chup raho naa!

She gives a sweet smile to ease the situation

G- Khana enjoy karne do naa…inko aap…chain se. Aap khaiye naa Maan, Thanda ho raha hai

M- Hmm…haan. Aap log bhi khaa lijiye

Maan says to rest of her family

After the dinner, Maan excuses himself into the room

Gharwalon ko bhi laga ki jamai ji thak gaye hain, aaram karne dena chahiye

Geet is sitting with her sisters in their room

G- Kaisa lag raha hai shaadi ho rahi hai?

Minu- Waise nervousness toh hai but Khushi bhi bohot hai

Geet smiles happily

G- Chalo acha hai, matlab mummy papa ne tere liiye mann-mutabik ladka chuna hai

Mehek- Di, ladka toh Minu ne khud hi chuna hai. Baaki toh sab choona hai

G- Matlab?

Mehek- Mummy-Papa ko lagta hai ye arrange marriage hai. Sohail ko toh Minu pehle se jaanti hai. Love marriage ko arrange marriage ka roop diya hai dono ne milke

Geet chuckles with surprise and gasps

G- Tu toh super chalu nikli

Minu giggles

Minu- Apne bhi toh apne pasand ke ladke se shaadi Karli. Toh maine bhi follow kar liya

Geet loses her smile

Minu- Kya hua, di? Humein toh ye hi lag raha tha kia ap aur jiju ek dusre ko pehle se jaante the. Aur jo hua isliye kyunki aapke rishte ke baare mein sab ko pata chal gaya. Aap…ap ne…sach mein apni pasand se shaadi nahi kari?

Hmm 🤭🤭 that was cute  ... Maan is taking care of everything as it's matter of family dignity & he didn't wanted to make another fuss here 

Geet parents are really happy to see Maan and they are doing everything possible to make things easy for them ☺ but it seems Geet is bit irritated of this

So Geet sister is marrying the person she loves & had made it arranged ☺ hopefully things stay smooth & this occasion brings happiness

Fabulous and so Interesting Update 

Maan truly can easily fit in with Geet's family 

but what is her problem 

he is right she should not make a big scene as it's her sister's marriage

but it just seems like Geet feels awkward when Maan is around 

so her sister has been in love and turned it into a arrange marriage

Geet was indeed annoyed

Maan just went with the flow

of cos Maaneet did not expect that they would have to feed each other

alas had no choice

so Minu is having a love marriage which the elders arranged as well
