Minu giggles
Minu- Apne bhi toh apne pasand ke ladke se shaadi Karli. Toh maine bhi follow kar liya
Geet loses her smile
Minu- Kya hua, di? Humein toh ye hi lag raha tha kia ap aur jiju ek dusre ko pehle se jaante the. Aur jo hua isliye kyunki aapke rishte ke baare mein sab ko pata chal gaya. Aap…ap ne…sach mein apni pasand se shaadi nahi kari?
G- Emm…nahi..woh aisa..nahi…woh
Mehek- Kya bakwas kar rahi hai! Dekha nahi jiju kis tarah dekhte rehte hain di ko…hye! Jaise duniya mein aur kuch hai hi nahi
Minu- Haan. Di, aap jab baat karte ho naa…jiju ki nazrein toh bass aap pe hi rehti hain. Aisa woh dreamy wala look. Jaise duniya khatam hai, usmein mein bass aap ho aur woh hain
Mehek-Hain aa! Tu ne bhi notice kiya naa
Geet smiles and blushes a little hearing about her sisters revelations
Tabhi there are loud knocks on the door
Mehek opens the door and their mother barges in
Ma- Kya kar rahi hai, Geet! Jamai ji dhund rahe hain tujhe saare ghar mein. Maine kaha hai unhe kamre mein aaram karne ke liye, jaa jaake puch kuch chahiye ki nahi unhe
G- Aap hi puch leti naa ki kuch chahiye ki nahi. Main kya puchun alag se?
Geet retaliates
Ma- Chup Ho jaa! Harr cheez woh mujhe bata sakte hain kya? Kuch baatein pati-patni ke beech hoti hai naa…aisi koi baat hogi. Itne saal shaadi ho gai hai, kuch akal nahi aayi hai!
Maa grumbles
Geet walks to the room they are allocated
She witnesses Maan looking confused and staring at the bed
G- Kya hua? Tum dhundh rahe the mujhe/
Maan looks over his shoulder as she walks towards him
M- Haan woh…I was making my bed toh extra chadar milti toh…
G- Haan. Main deti hoon
She starts to find the extra bedsheet
G- Ye lo
She hands over the sheet to him
M- Thanks
He goes to spread the sheet on the floor near the bathroom
G- Arre tum yahan kyun…?
She looks around. Room mein zayada jagah nahi hai. He is a big man. Saara room shaadi ke saamaan se bhara hai
M- I will be fine
Maan was going to lay down but Geet stands in front of him snatching off the sheet
G- Nahi! Tum bed pe so jao
M- I will be fine
G- No!
She puts her foot down
Badi Badi aankein dikhati hai Maan ko
M- Phir tum kahan…?
G- Bed kaafi bada hai dono aa jayenge. Hyederabad wale ghar ka bed single bed hai ye queen size bed hai, dono aaram se aa jaayenge
He nods
M- Okay
G- Tum so jao. Main aati hoon
M- Jaldi so jaana nahi toh tabiyat kharab ho jaayegi
She nods
Geet goes back to her sisters

Its late in the night when Geet enters their room silently
Its dark, she slowly opens the door as silently as possible as to not wake Maan up
Maan is sleeping on the far corner of the bed on his side with his back towards her side of the bed
Geet could see his profile in the dark as the moon light is entering through the window
He is sleeping comfortably unlike the uncomfort he has to face on the floor, she thinks
She impulsively puts her hand gently on his arm for a moment and then retrieves to her side of the bed to sleep
Maan opens his eyes. Wide awake. But doesn’t move so that Geet ko pata na chale that he
is awake

Next morning-
The whole family is at the breakfast table
Ghar wale Maan ko ache se naashta karwa rahe hain
TV chal raha tha
TV ke news mein aata hai about; Abhijeet-the reported ka murder and that police is reopening the case of the notorious serial killer from 10 years back as this killing pattern is similar and the suspect is the son of that serial killer
Maan is gazing at the tv intensely
Geet is also looking at the news intensely
While Maa - papa are discussing about the case from 10 years
Sisters are also in the discussion
So now the murderer is aware that law is looking for him
Geet thinks in her head as Maan slowly unclenches his jaw and brings back his usual amicable smile on his face

The ladies of the house are planning to for the lehenga finalization
One of their cousins ‘Swati’ also arrives along with her little 5 year old daughter
She is a friendly kid who gets along with everyone
During the chaos of the wedding and the ladies the kid is asking for maggie noodles and the mother is scolding her to eat healthy
The kid was sad and grumpy
Maan makes the maggie and brings it for the kid
The kid’s eyes lights up with happiness and that seals the friendship between him & Aadya

All the ladies go for the lehenga shopping
Maan joins them as well as with Aadya’s insistence. Anyway’s he didn’t want to stay at home with Geet’s dad
All the ladies were with the bride while Maan & Aadya were at a corner playing
The groom was also there with his mother
The bride had gone to change into the lehenga after the final stitch
Geet and Mehek were helping Minu with the lehenga
The sisters are emotional and joyful seeing their sister in the bride’s dress
The bride walks into front of everyone wearing the lehenga
The groom gets up looking at her and just admiring her
Geet looks at the groom’s reaction and the love between the bride and groom
A little sigh escapes her lips as she looks at Maan from corner of her eyes
Maan who was playing with Aadya with no care of the world
Maan notices Geet with his peripheral vision
Geet feels so happy for her sister, she is so happy at everything…every moment she is enjoying as a bride. All the moments and gestures she will never get to experience
