“Its not even 9 PM, itna dark yon rahe ho?” she squinted her eyes at him
“Do you have enough things in your arms?” he scowled
Her laptop bag, her pointy heels her phone, a bag of stuff his Mum had given her, her purse
“Why are you holding your shoes?”
“Try walking in these” she handed it to him
“No thanks!!” he opened the trunk and set them in a corner
“Why are you going this way?” she asked
“There is more than one way to where we live” he looked at her like she was on something
“I am not drunk…. My feet hurt, instead of hiring a cab I decided to walk, is area mein auto bhi nahi milte”

“Thanks for picking me up” she sat beside him
“Why the sudden politeness” his lips twitching as he turned the key
“I didn’t expect you but you showed up… I could have been abducted so you know..” she rolled her eyes quick as she turned the other way so he wouldn’t catch it
“Eye roll Taara?” he didn’t gas the car
“I wouldn’t have been abducted” “Its not even 9 PM Pradyut”
Calling out his name visibly relaxed him she noticed

They were home in less than 5 minutes

The food arrived as soon as she got out of the shower
The spread was lavish as always
“Why don’t you just live with them” she asked curiously as they ate together
It was Thai and delicious

(Pia didn’t come out and say Taaruni was stealing but implied it)

Pia is sick. Really sick. Pia might be one to steal that’s the reason she could think that Taaruni is stealing. Knowing the chemistry which she shares with Sumedha anyone would know Sumedha would willingly give it all to Taaruni.
Happy that Taaruni gave it back.
Just for this ‘I Do’ I feel like saying I love Pradyut ❤️.
Can’t imagine how dejected Taaruni would have felt after Her conversation with Pia.
