I dont see her as a weakling, just someone who is naive about his intentions. Once she catches on, he is dead fish.
I think that's kind of the storyline and her journey as well....it kind of reminds me of main nah bhulungi serial which used to come in Sony TV
She is naive and innocent, and they are going to show her a weakling for sometime, but she will then come out stronger.
