Icchenodi's ML family was quite joint yet dysfunctional.

The elders were surgeons. They were mostly busy in their workplace.

Later in the show it was revealed that FL's real parents were alive and she was born by a couple out of wedlock. FL's singing teacher was her real father and mother was a very popular singer.

But best part about Icchenodi was that ML had always had a backbone till the end. They were seperated due to career differentiations.
