Mumbai: Actor Shilpa Shetty has said she was unaware of the exact nature of content on 'Hotshots' - the mobile app via which her husband, Raj Kundra, is accused of streaming pornographic content - Mumbai Police sources have told news agency ANI.

Police sources told ANI that Ms Shetty said it was another accused - London-based Pradeep Bakshi, Mr Kundra's brother-in-law - who was involved with the app. She also stressed the difference between 'erotica' and 'pornography', and said Mr Kundra was not involved in producing pornographic content.

This means she is aware that he was shooting all erotica content or whatever content it is

How can she know it wasn't p*rn but erotica if she really wasn't aware of what he was up to ?

I don't know, maybe she asked him. 

Maybe she is hinting that she only knew of erotica and had no clue of the p*rn movies thus she is not involved!

Followed by that the investigation has continued on Raj Kundra’s other businesses and even investigated Shilip Shetty's involvement in the business. On Friday evening, July 23rd, the Mumbai Crime Branch carried out a search at Raj Kundra and Shilp Shetty’s residence in Juhu for 6 long hours. According to reports in a leading daily, the investigating team left their residence after recording the actress’ statement in the p...ography case.

According to the daily, the actress has recorded a statement and said the videos that are coming under the scanner are erotica and not p...ography. The actress says that terming the videos as p..n is wrong as it is just erotica and even cites more examples of similar content on other OTT platforms. According to the reports the Crime Branch has also seized electronic gadgets during the house raid.

A source close to E Times puts further light on the case and says why Shilpa Shetty’s involvement is being probed, according to the source, “The reason Shilpa has come under the scanner is because she resigned from the director’s position at Viaan Industries.” It was Viaan Industries which was used to produce the videos under question.

I mean she's isn't wrong. It's totally legal to produce softcore pron in India but it's illegal if he's forcing women to do.
