"M power "women .... Empower

Like the title and the chapter flow. Just wondering knowing that it's just a story, since so many debates and discussions happen here in jest, 😆 if Satyen's company has enough women representations in positions of power? Or will Viveka , if she accepts will have a crack at the glass ceiling ....

Viveka has entered the circle of privilege .... she can't help it being tied to the family now. The offer is on the table, she is hardworking, capable , might still go for her first love to go for her doctorate, this offer has remained an open invitation as far as I can remember .. how many other people outside the circle of privilege can dream of this to get to a slot and pitch to an audience with position and power, with added perks of sightseeing and travel . Her own mom must have slogged her ass off to get to this position of M power!

She might, might not accept the offer, but try hard as she might, she cannot escape the circle of influential power. Knowing Naina, if Viveka joins , she will rub it on her, especially now with her having to do many applications to get her interview slot

Dash of jealous Ranaav and insecure Smrita was delight.

Your sense of humor is amazing.

First glimpse reading smrita accompanying them I thought ayyo thala vali! ( the dreaded uninvited headache😇) but she surely is entertaining in her own way!

“Respect her wishes Satya” “she is a grown woman” Smrita gave her unsolicited support

Causing Viveka to to smile wide ear to ear

“I will always let you follow your heart, I am not a business man like him or him” she waved her hand

I'll take a bet, many of us would have had an image of this lady gesticulating with her hands , slightly dismissive , as she said this, making not only Viveka grin ear to ear , all of us too.

True Kalpana.

Not sure which actress would fit the bill of Smrita though.

She definitely is not Lalita Pawar. maybe maya Sarabhai?

Maya sarabhai would be good. I love Rathna Pathan shah. Neena Gupta , give her the costume and the works, she can pull it off too or shefali shah! Such brilliant actresses, these wonderful actors can be anyone who we want them to be playing on our heads 😆

"He made me cut my hair” she felt the back of her high ponytail

“U look 16” he chuckled

“He must have had a GF in high school that had hair like this’ she winked at her FIL"..

Comfort in relationship 😍

“You should hang around for 20 minutes, mujhe ghar se order aaya hai I cannot be at work past 2, its already 3, if I go with you I wont get blasted” he laughed

Viveka stared at him speechless

The man let Smrita have the upper hand when it came to his health

He willfully let her take the lead"

Plus a realization that Smrita is his wife and does have say in his life. 😊

Am not very young anymore Nisha. Nearing 40 🤣.
Yeah, Lalita Pawar would be 105 (checked Wikipedia) but speak of negative female character, she comes to my mind.
Maybe coz am Ramanand Sagar Ramayan fan. Had seeing it again during lockdown.

I like Kalpana options.

Walk of fame & shame

“If you are so over… umm.. umm confident you really should not worry should you?” she smiled quick on the rebound

She had no idea why he was so upset

He looked great angry though

“U think I am over confident?” he asked silkily

“I mean why would you even ask if I accepted the offer?” “Who even told you I have an offer?” she was befuddled

“He would have offered you I know” he said smugly

“So you are over confident “ she smiled nailing him

“About my Dad? YES!” he smiled flashing teeth humorlessly

“If I tell you he didn’t would that make me a liar then?”

“You tell me Viveka Mathur” he stressed on the Mathur

“When you make Mathur sound like an insult I don’t really feel the urge to answer” she shrugged getting off the bed

It was a gorgeous old house with punkhas along the periphery of the ceiling, and tall walls and curved edges and a low teakwood four poster bed with mosquito net

The walls had original art from all around Maharashtra

She bend down to look for her chappal

“where are you going?”

“Out” she mumbled sleepily

“Can I see your presentation?” “I never heard from you that you were doing any such thing” “Power Engg Must be beneath ur stature” he mocked

“You may not see my presentation” she said arms across her chest

“Got it” he said coldly

“I am going to have dinner”

He did not respond

“If he offers me a job I don’t plan to take it so that should ease your mind” she said softly

“You think I care?”

He was shouting

“Oh you do… Raanav Parashar… if you didn’t you would have bothered to say HELLO I did not get a freaking hello” “I don’t need a job at Power Engineers to prove my worth. Its all yours” she knotted the scarf over her skinny tee, and grabbed a shawl from the foot board

“Also I did not intentionally hide the event from you, he sprung it on the plane so I worked on my slides I didn’t talk to you the last 4 days so I didn’t tell you”

“Totally fair” he mumbled

“When we had a fight in London, you clearly told me I don’t have to share “everything” if I don’t want unsolicited advice”

“THAT’S what you got out of it?” he yelled

There was a knock on the door

Dilli or Aurangabad… Rakshit just knew when to knock on the door

“Dinner?” he peeked with a grin

“Out mann!!” Raanav warned

“How can you guys be fighting everywhere dude?” Rakshit began to laugh out loud

“Well you have sh—y timing” Raanav shut the door on his face

“Mujhe bhook lagi hai main ja rahi hoon”

She walked up to him, he held the door firmly

“Raanavvv” she hissed twisting the handle… they fought over it, he was forcing it shut and she was prying it open…

He was unperturbed

“Let me go!” she whispered

“I am not done talking”

“Mujhe khaana khaana hai” she wrenched it unsuccessfully

Being close and together was sheer agony

“Must do ur victory walk?”

“Who already ho chuka at lunch time” she smiled yanking it hard

He loosened his grip letting her win

He watched as she left him

She turned around to see if he had shut it back and went in

Their eyes met she turned away
