Funny how there are no beds unless you are a VIP, fir achanak se bed prakat ho jata hai.

Hope he gets well soon though and the other staff members who have been infected, the good thing is that he got them admitted as well.

thats a rich private hospital not a government health centre. financially secured people can afford that

Sure, but the private hospitals are also overburdened. Even so many 'affluent' folks with serious condition haven't been able to get a bed in this pandemic.

EOD it is privilege, VIPs helping VIPs

From what is happening, India needs to be on a war footing since yesterday. Which means private hospitals have to be incooperated into the system for a short period. Which means beds need to handed out on triage basis.

But of course, it isn't happening. To introduce a solution would mean admitting to a problem first.

That aside, can these elites at least not put this about in public? Going to Maldives is one thing, but rubbing actual life/death differences in the faces of the common man is something else.

I don’t understand why people who can afford to are not staying home.

Hope he has already been vaccinated. Wish him a speedy recovery!

There is no guaranty that if you stay indoors you will be safe. We haven’t gone out since 8 months yet we got corona. It can come from groceries, clothes etc. Only god can control it

Exactly. The issue is, self isolation only works if you have no one coming at home. Per Randhir 5 staff members tested positive. And they're obviously coming over everyday. India and Pakistan have this unique situation where most households have maids and help that go in and out of the house daily, often to several houses. So theoretically, elder people can have been at home all this time and still catch Covid. Coz is asymptomatic carriers that are going in and out of houses. No how many upper middle class and rich families will be willing to let go of all their maids and house help? I doubt many

Privilege is everywhere, just like nepotism.

He has money, he'll spend it.

You got a problem. Make your own hospital and get your own bed.
