By Shaurya's logic, he should call both of them by their names.

To echo Idiotboxer's point, in Shaurya's head, he and Shaan are the wronged parties. For all his beef with his Dad over negligence, he feels they both are united in their grief at Aastha's abandonment. "Us" versus "her". She left them both and chose a different path.


This feeling is only going to get more complicated in the coming days with his parents re-uniting, and both serving as joint bulwark for Anokhi against the 'zaalim zamaana'....something they did not do for him. The green eyed monster and all that...
