Wow. I wasn’t even aware that this song existed until now. What a song, what a song. Simply mind blowing! the original was from 70s sung by the young SPB but the following one was sung by the 70+ SPB recently in 2017. What a singer, what a performer! No wonder the audience gave standing ovation after the performance. Made me very emotional, though the song is anything but! :)

The remake isn’t anything as cool as the original. Yet SPB rocked the modern version too. His level of energy in his voice, even in his old age, is unmatchable.

SPB about his Amma (mother).
Basically he says that he starts his day by seeing her the first thing in the morning and get her blessings. He doesn’t need to go to any temple or anything else, she is his God. He also says not to put the parents in old age homes. Yes they will take care but not as good as us, the children.
The main reason for him getting into music was his mother, as he used to listen to her singing throughout the day when she used to do the house chores.
He lost her last year only.

Mothers are the greatest gift of Allah. ❤️ SPB was blessed to live under his mom's wings for almost whole life. I am praying that my mom and everyone's mom be blessed with a long life and a good health.🤗
Today ..in fact everyday since SPB passed away I listened to him singing some of Rafi's songs. I was amazed, and thought ..is there any type of singing he can't sing! I believe he would've excelled in singing in Arabic too if he had a chance. 😃 Such a genius!👏
