Ranbir today is what Shahid was before Haidar. Shahid had been giving flops after flops yet he used to charge like 10-14cr, used to sign solo films with big directors. The difference... Shahid was not known as the best thing since sliced bread. So people appreciated his acting in Haidar and similar films afterwards. But Ranbir is considered as the best actor BW have ever had. So how is acting better in his next film is gonna help him? The overpitching by his PR has not left any scope for small elevations.

Shahid was never considered among Biggest Star, But This guy is considered among The Biggest Stars in Bolly only little Behind Khans & Kumar, Wile in reality he is flop Star.
