I saw this clip. Isn't she an educated person? A doctor or a nutritionist or something? The same thing happened in that Thendral Vanthu Ennai Thodum serial. I could not digest an IAS/IPS girl who agreed to some random thaali katting at some temple by some random thug guy. 
Can't they show a proper wedding where both parties consent? Why do these Indian serials always show forced/reluctant/sudden/non-consensual weddings?

I was busy in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai forum.. was watching Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod.. Generation 3 of Rishta verse..
Makers did us dirty by making FL & ML divorce and leap in the show.. FL have ML’s child and make someone else ( cameo ) as father of that child.. a boy. She is in live in relationship with that cameo and raising the child, custody drama when ML gets to know the truth. Insecure man child husband ie cameo is insecure of his place in FL and child’s life.. manipulated her that he raised the child and did favour on her, etc so makers showed her sleeping with the cameo ie 2nd husband and he dies very next day of consummation by drinking alcohol.. gloating to ML that he got FL and the child ie boy back and then he fell from a hill and died. Makers showed ML and FL trying to unite again but showed her pregnant with cameo’s child.. and FL tried level best to ML as father to her late 2nd husband’s unborn child.. then, the makers killed ML and his biological child.. while FL is pregnant with cameo’s child..
Show takes leap.. with new FL is cameo’s daughter..
P.S. The cameo was a poor orphan car driver..
P.S.S He got to know later on on returning to Udaipur that he had got married to educated rich heiress.. who was a music therapist but became a homemaker who made JAMS and lived a middle class life with cameo in a hill station

HC ( Harshad Chopda ) and PR ( Pranali Rathod ) were the main leads.. we got good love story, marriage but always fights and leap 1 but still story was B/w ML and FL.
With 2nd leap, show completely changed, ML - FL got divorced overnight and leap happened.. FL characteristics changed and she become a selfish gaslighting bitch.. and cameo brought in was a selfish emotional manipulative man child and we fans got worst ending ever possible in ITV

I am catching up on Anna's episodes. Started with the one where Shanmugham stabs Bhagyam.
Soundarpandian is so funny. When Muthu is worried for his mother and is running around calling the ambulance and getting her inside the hospital, Soundarapandian's expressions are hilarious.
I guess the show has realized the potential of Muthu becoming good and being happy with Isakki, hence the whitewashing. Muthu was not the least bothered about his mother before this.
