Nora posted that quote.

Even rukmani one also.

Vedvyas ki ek baat ko sach mano gi aur dusri ko jhoot.

Ved Vyasa didn't mention Rukmini as per CE. He called Panchali Shri. There is no second Shri who is separate from Lakshmi, there is no Swargalakshimi Goddess. There is only ONE Shri as per accepted texts.

Once again, caveat: Panchali was a flesh-and-blood woman, not an avatar.

There is a passionate debate going on and I will just put my two cents. Krishna is God. He guided Pandavs to establish a just rule & kingdom because they were on the side of Dharm & are basically sons of Gods. Draupadi is the cornerstone of this epic. From my limited knowledge, Sri is Narayan's consort every time she reincarnates. I have read various versions that say Draupadi has elements of various Godesses but as far as Krishna is concerned, Rukmini is believed to be Sri. Krishna is considered to be an ideal husband and obviously would be better than any mortal.

There is no point of debate . When other party is not ready 2 listen , Draupadi has many stories regarding her birth .

I guess Vishnu Puran will have this knowledge

They must have spent quite some time in naming their kids

Is there a pattern to their name?

See dear u can believe what u want 2 , I will believe what I know it has logic also as mahalakshmi will never marry anyone else apart from lord Vishnu.

Mahalakshmi don't take birth 4 seperate reasons . First MB is not story of lord krishna.

Draupadi is born out of sacred fire not from a woman's worm.

We can agree to disagree.

Hey no Duryodhan means Duhh+Yodhan

Means someone with whom fighting is very difficult.

Suyodhan simply means a good Yodha Duryodhan is a superlative degree of it

Similarly Dusshashan was probably named Sushashan means Good governance, Dushhasan as he started being called means one who is difficult to be ruled upon

I wonder if Dushala was also named Sushala in reality
